Im sure you meant you don't want them to smell like poop.
I would have done it a long time ago. Any of my litters need it by the time they start moving around. I use dawn. In the kitchen sink wrap them in a towel just to get the main wet off and let them to run and dry. No big deal. I think they are healthier when they don't have to have the poop on them.

If you DON'T want your puppies to smell like poop, yes, you can give your puppies a good quick shampoo or soap bath now that they're already 8 weeks old. Make sure, though that you use lukewarm water and that you do dry them up so well after the quick warm bath.
I've given baths to my puppies even when they were a little younger than 8 weeks old.

I have a litter of 9 boxer puppies....(they are so cute)....and they are 2 weeks old today. I asked their vet what I could do for the smell bcz my puppies are stinking my house up, he said after they all get there eyes open I can give them a short bath with gentle puppy shampoo and try not to get it in their eyes, and to make sure to dry them completely after their bath.

There is puppy soap that you can buy, its not that expensive and its readily available at any petco or any animal story
DO NOT USE normal soap or shampoo, first because its dries its skin and second, they might have an allergic reaction and could loose a lot of fur and might look "unhealthy" So watch out.
If you dont want to "wash" them everytime,. you could use "puppy wipes" (I KNOW! funny right, bu tthey exists) and we used to use them all the time. Great for a quit, no smelling like doo doo puppy :)

you could just use some baby wipes on them. Of course make sure there is no oil in the wipes, and they have good ingredients inside
it will clean them up and puppies will smell clean

Yep - you can give them a bath. I use human baby shampoo on my puppies as it is gentle and will not sting their eyes should some get into them.
