I was told "God will laugh at you in hell" by a Muslim.

Does this mean he is enjoying the suffering of people?

Acid, if you want I can pull up some links of you threatening violence on people. Please try and use that squishy thing between your ears. Not your nose though.

I'm not sure about the truth of it but i've been told that.

Espresso Kid: You're totally wrong. God doesnt want any one to go to hell. He weeps over every single person there. Hell was never meant for us, but for Satan and his demons. But if you reject Him and deny His existence all your life what can He do? God doesnt condemn people to hell..we condemn ourselves.

God bless

No that isn't in the quran.

Getting sent to hell is like getting thrown out of home by your parents, sometimes the kid is just that messed up, but the parents aren't happy with it.

God does not want hardship upon his creation but they are ungrateful and unjust when dealing with the affairs of the weak and in there acceptance of his oneness so in-turn they wrong themselves.

Allah says in the Qur'an chapter 7 (A' raaf) verses 36 and 37
He Say's

(36) "but those who reject our signs and treat them with arrogance they are the companions of the fire to dwell therein(forever).

(37) "who is more unjust than the one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects his signs? for such there portion appointed must reach them from the book(decrees):until when our messengers (of death) arrive and take there souls they say."where are the things ye used to invoke besides Allah?.

This is a completely ridiculous notion! The whole point of a concept of God, is to prevent people from falling victim to the more unpleasant aspects of life. Since God is essentially a compassionate & caring entity, it is clear that witnessing people in hell is bound to cause God distress. We have to eliminate the concepts of heaven & hell in an "afterlife" as they are severely detrimental to the human psyche; people think they can earn a place in heaven if they do "good" or a place in hell if they're "bad", but one person may believe that blowing up hundreds, even thousands of people will give them the key to pasradise after death, whilst another may believe doing such a thing will send their souls to hell.

I believe the "afterlife" refers to our next incarnation on earth and what we do in this life has no influence whatsoever on our individual souls, rather, we must all return and face the mistakes or improvements humanity has made to life on Earth - there is no escape from this. I could be exceptionally rich (as was Buddha), yet still be immensly unhappy at the suffering of others through poverty or lack of education, resources, education etc. Because of this, Buddha chose to leave his beautiful wife & life of riches in order to bring enlightenment to the human consciousness. He was so unhappy with life on earth, he gave himself the option of not having to return - so those who have learned & understand the highest attributes of humanity, need not return to suffering & misery until such a time as these are largely eradicated.

Indeed, if you read Genesis, the Lord God, doesn't condemn Adam & Eve to hell for committing a wrong, instead, their own ignorance led to their suffering a life of misery, to being an "outcast" of Nature. Hell is human life on earth; the poor live in hell compared to a rich man's life of luxury & choice, which is why Jesus spoke out against profit & usary. Here, it's clear that most of the people in "hell" do not deserve to be there - the poor are largely paying for the crimes of the rich.

If you read 'The Prophet's Nighty Journey' in which Mohammed is taken through seven heavens & seven hells, you will see that at the end, the Prophet is asked which one of the seven heavens he'd like to be in for Judgment Day. He decides (in his ultimate wisdom), not to be in any of the 7 heavens and chooses instead, to be seated on the back of the strange, mythical creature that carried him on his journey. This alone, should encourage people to question their ideas about heaven & hell.

If large portions of people truly believe that seeing people in hell makes God laugh, then it's no wonder we've created such a nightmare out of life on this beautiful planet!

If God is real, that muslim had better have a pretty good excuse for his comments. Personally, I reckon Hell would be full of fanatics and extremists

God is sick. I am digusted by him. He says he doesnt take pleasure in those in hell, yet he also says he hates sinners, and laughs at them when they are at judgement day ready to be sent to hell. Hes to complicated and has to many sides, he gave us free will, yet we have threats of hell, curses in this life, etc... because of ''sin''
