There is no cure for herpes.
There are several different prescription antiviral medications like Valtrex, Famvir, and acyclovir, that can help suppress the virus and help prevent outbreaks, but there is no cure.
You can also use some over the counter medications for pain like ibuprofen. If the pain is severe you can get a prescription from your doctor for some controlled medication like Vicodin. You can also use ice packs to sort of "numb" the pain. Warm bathes also help a lot with the pain and itchiness.

the best advice I can give you is to take 1,000 miligrams 3 times a day of lysene or get a perscription for valtrex. This will subdue the outbreaks.
