Here acute damage to the heart results in decreased cardiac output and activation of compensatory mechanisms. Acute haemodynamic abnormalities as elevation of the left ventricular end - diastolic pressure and decreased cardiac output manifest as dyspnoea, edema and fatigue .There is alteration in heart structure. When there is activation of neuro -endocrine system there is constrictions of blood vessels which causes extra work imposed on the heart add the blood vessels of the kidneys also constricted there is fluid retention causing edema.
