Beautiful work. Colorful and very expressive. If your intent was to show emossion you nailed it. This is a very happy and positive painting. For a fourteen year old you have very good hands. Keep the brush on the canvas as they say, and as a tip for the future try not telling people your age. As far as I'm concerned you could be 93. Unfortunatelly artists tend to be pre-judged by things like age, cultural background, lifestyle and education. This is a shame, because art should be judged by the piece more so than the artist. If only one person in the world likes your artwork then you can concider yourself a success. A good artist will always wonder if their good enough, a great artist doesn't have time to ask because their too busy creating. Paint paint paint, because someone is waiting to see what's next.

I like it too, wonderfully exciting colours, you seem to be making an excellent start. However, if you want one bit of constructive (I hope) criticism, to do a really good painting you also have to be able to make the colours work as tones, the lights and darks that give shape and meaning. To see what I’m getting at you might find it useful to use some image editing software to look at the painting converted temporarily to black and white, and decide how successfully you’ve done this.
Otherwise, well done and keep up the good work, enjoy!

A bit gaudy, artbittch, and the whiteness of the teeth stand out too much. It looks like a hooked rug but for your age it is brilliant! I started painting at fourteen myself and you are way better than I was then so keep at it.

well ihave to say, i'm impressed

not to mention that you chose a good subject also; being a fan of bob marley myself

your choice of colors strike me and your strokes, i cannot somehow define wether the picture is supposed to be happy or angry, only the smile erases the doubt of anger but the colors can be deceiving alone

keep it up kiddo

You are 14? Impressive. (Even if you were 35 it would be that)

Please do not refer to much color in a painting as 'I like doing'. Professionals say: "The pictures I do usually need lots of color." Say that and you are a professional all the way. ;-)

Interesting query. Make an art piece about lust vs. love!
