and his time at DEI is dwindling, do you think he's gonna try more or less to get those wins?
Do you think they'll still have engine problems with his car?

I read somewhere recently, that they are using "some" RCR parts on DEI engines, and that may be part of the problem. Maybe they don't integrate well?

I have heard Jr. mention that their engine department was having problems adapting to the low lead fuel that is being used on the Cup level for the first time this year. The new fuel doesn't lubricate the engine parts as well, and burns hotter, hence the engine problems. Childress racing, who hasn't had so many problems is now in an engine building partnership with DEI, so that should help.
I have no doubt that Jr. will win one or more of the last eight races. He might not be the fastest driver out there, but he is one of the best drivers there are when it comes to car control, and barring mechanical trouble, that should help him to find victory lane.

I am hoping that the way Mark Martin, Dale Jr, and Truex was running this weekend is a sign the engine problems are under control.
They need to enjoy some wins and I believe he'll try hard.

Jr is going to try to get wins and have great races before he leaves, he wants to do it for his guys and team, and he wants wins for his fans as well......God, I hope the engine gremlins will leave him alone and let him finish every race left and get some wins before he leaves Dei and moves on to a much better team in 2008.....I'm cheering you all the way Jr...

The only way for Junior to go is up.
The mess at DEI is going to continue even when Junior is gone.
The motors will be motors the failures will continue.

he is going to try and win, he really wants the wins...as to engine problems it would not surprise me a bit, but maybe they are getting tired at TEI and might knock it off...
