Beagle and Boxer, maybe some pit bull.
He is a beautiful boy for sure. Most surely Boxer.
I'm not sure about the brown marking on muzzle.
Use to if a litter had white Boxers the breeders
what kill them, because they only wanted a good rep,
for Fawn and normal full colored markings.I think they are Beautiful.Take Care of Reuben.Jack Russels are small dogs.
If he's anything he's Amer.P.Bull & Boxer.Maybe Beagle.

I don't see Staffie, Pit or Boxer in him really at all and I spend a lot of time with Pits and Pit mixes, owning a pit/lab and fostering an American Pit Bull Terrier. In addition to that I work for an educational / rescue group for Pit Bulls. They are commonly victims of mistaken identity.

What I do see is Jack Russel Terrier and what could possibly be Beagle. Did the SPCA give you any background info on the pup?

Regardless of what breed he is, he is very cute. Take good care of that little guy and enjoy his puppyhood!
:)

It definitely looks Jack Russell, but since many people seem to fail to read your full question, a JR would only weigh about 16lbs full grown, not at 3 months old. So I would say definitely a pit or pit mix, maybe american bulldog, not staffy though, and not boxer. Either pit, american bull, or a cross between the two. I think the Jack Russell markings are just coincidence.

Stephen, he definitely looks like he is part Pit Bull.....and certainly Boxer, I dont know about Staffy....but he sure looks like a cutie....sweet face and calm eyes....I like that! I am dying to know what his name is.....but I know people on here cant converse so will probably never know....lol Ooooops, just looked back at the pic again and see his name is Reuben....I just love it! Gosh, he is a beauty for 3 months old.....looks like he may be on the large side. I love big dogs even though I have a real quirky little American Cocker Spaniel....smaller than the English Cocker....he only weighs 30 pounds.....that's thirty pounds of of tail-wagging energy, protectiveness and devotion. I know your little baby boy will bring you much joy and happiness....good luck with him Stephen. Make sure you train him well, with kindness.......there is no such thing as a bad dog.....only bad owners! So there! lolol

Awww!!!! Hes so cute!!! Looks like a pit bull but doesn't have the same nose. Kind of looks like a jack Russell now...although he doesn't have the traditional coloring he could be mixed with a masstiff.

For the 4th time at least, that you've posted this (don't believe me--look at his previous questions, all about this same dog, same basic question).... Most are going to say Jack Russel like the times before, some will say Pit or boxer.... Why keep asking the same thing?

He looks like a pittbull to me, some pitts are this color, body type is exact for a pitt, are you sure he is a mix?

2007-09-24 15:07:31 · answer #10 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

His head is flat and jaws are defined like a pit, so I'd definetely say that he has pit in him. I'm not sure what else is in there though. I'm interested to see what other people's anwers will be.
