Possibly something kicking in/on after initial start-up? It isn't loud - and doesn't sound "critical". Just isn't normal.

Swapping_lips, I discovered today my speedometer isn't working correctly. Maybe check yours - this could be my noise. I emailed John Paul for his input.

You might be a little more specifec where the noise sound is comming from? We are having a lot of hood latch squeeking there is a repair bulliten for that. E-mail me if you want.

hello i have an 07 xterra and i have the same problem the noise is harmless but yeah i wish it could go away
