Good news: 1st was not aware my dog had neurology problems, 2nd Like any symptoms watched the outcome no apparent complications for 2/3 days.. difficult to assess a problem if no initial symptoms. 3rd Time for the "vet" for a second opinion. 4th as expected, after explaining to the vet doctor all relevant details, insisted on a pain killer/ sedative, vet's same as me, rest, rest and more rest, so "Luke" at the moment is doing fine, agreed a bump to the head, maybe concussion. So many thanks to you all and especially slapping my wrist or more for what you believe, ie, maybe a wee bit negligent, I way up the pro's and con's, meaning is it serious or non serious. Thanks tremendiously. (Not checked my spelling so please excuse).

Why haven't you take the dog to the vet? Your dog needs medical attention immediately. Be responsible. Would you just let your child fall onto it's head and not worry? Your dog could have a fractured skull or severe brain damage.

Oh for goodness sake get him to the vet. Even if an animal hasn't had an accident, when their behavior is so different they need checking out. Also if the dog hasn't drank for 2 days he will be severely dehydrated and that is extremely dangerous.
What are you waiting for. GO GO GO !!!!!!!! x

If I were you, I would take him to the vet to make sure something isn't wrong with him. The longer you wait, if something is wrong, the worse it's going to get. And the worse he's gonna feel. He may just have a "bad headache". Good luck.

You left your poor dog to suffer for two days? An emergency vet visit is needed ASAP.

Should have gone to the vet two days ago if the dog had neurological problems....

Why haven't you done something yet? If you fell on your head even from that height, I doubt you'd be too well if left to suffer for two days! Take him to the vet immediately!

You probably should take him to the vet, especially is he is an older dog. Something isn't right.
