What purpose would well-established Biologists and Archaeologists have in lying to us about evolution?

What do you think they would hope to gain?

Why do you feel that people showing factual evidence to support a theory are not only LYING- but spending VAST amounts of money and research time to do so?

For what PURPOSE are they lying?

Psst- there's no argument here- I really want to know what they think would drive a person to behave in this way.

somebody PLEASE just answer the question.

I don't care what you DO believe- I want to know what would make someone act this way- so far I only see one opinion.

So the bias is obvious and the assumption that somehow life comes from inanimate matter is a gross atrocity to education and knowledge.

uhhh... what do you call a magic creator picking up a hand full of dust?...

oh wait- magic... never mind!!!

Those questioning my choice of words- this was based on a bumper sticker.

EVOLUTION IS A LIE

EVOLUTION IS SCIENCE FICTION

It was on the back of a pickup (ironically enough right next to a confederate flag).

Im waiting for that in between fossil. Then Ill change my mind. Sorry that wont happen because it didnt happen the way evolutionists say. And what I dont get is why is it taught likes its a scientific law in schools? It a theory and very weak one at that. As Charles stated about his book the Origin of Species. Its one long argument. Meaning yeah thats right no rock solid proof. Peace out..............

It has been the trend of secular humanist to fund grants for evolutionary research. If you can't get a grant for the research you really want to do then you reapply with the language of evolutionary research in the field you wish to study.
Secular humanism makes great effort to debunk all religions. If you think this is crazy then you need to read the Humanist Manifesto and check out the predominant Humanists and how well funded they are. These same individuals have also had great influence in our educational and political development. Especially, Dewey and the Huxley brothers.

Also, a bunch of facts, fitting into an assumption, still don't make it true only more plausible. However, evolutionist do not debate the objections to their "facts" and cry "heretic" or "fanatic" if one does.
For instance, just about every science text book hails the Miller-Urey experiment as "life in a test-tube" with the assumption that one could create life in a closed system. Because the cooked up a few build blocks to DNA everyone hailed their brilliance. This became the explanation of evolution from a primordial soup. When at best, it should be a recipe for a few amino acids. Rarely are the objections to this experiment ever discussed. It really also created poisonous gases that would be harmful to any living thing. So the bias is obvious and the assumption that somehow life comes from inanimate matter is a gross atrocity to education and knowledge. However, evolutionist still hail Miller-Urey as their evidence for evolution and the indoctrination continues.

Many people want to have the answers to age-old questions...Where did we come from? Why are we here? Are we there yet? Evolution, at least to me, is a complete waste of time. What good has all the study of evolution led to? We spend billions of dollars exploring the past and space, and not one thing note worthy other than entertainment. By the way, I am not a Creationist, many Creationists believe that God started everything and used evolution to get to where we have it today. I am a Christian who believes what the bible says. You can just call me idiot if you wish, but I will try to be as kind to you as I can. You must understand that picking and choosing what one likes from the Bible does not lead to the truth. The Truth is the Bible and I am glad to be looked down upon for my faith.

I tried to put his in a question the other day with, "Does an atheist or a theist have more to gain by lying..." but I think i was being too subtle for most creationists. To be fair, back in the day when many scientific hypotheses were being thrown about, fame and wealth was a key motivator. But those days are long gone and we have many mediums today for peer review of scientific research so 'greed' as a motivator for scientific research is reduced and today it is much closer to what it should be - an area of human endeavor concerned with improving man kinds understanding of the universe in which we live.

You need much more faith to believe in the religion of evolution than in creationism. I guess Vladimir Lenin was right when he said,"A lie told often enough becomes truth" Evolution claims that we evolved by spontaneous generation and without design. But are we part of a careful design or a simple accidental occurrence? When a simple cell of life(created by God) is more complex than NYC in rush hour.
Darwin teaches that *there is no purpose to life.*no one to be accountable to.*no one to be responsible to. And if God did not create us-we don't need to answer to Him.
What I find interesting is that History indicates there is nothing older than 4,400 years old. According to evolution, man evolved slowly over millions of years. But in reality it was only 4,400 years ago that man suddenly became sophisticated,ex. Egyptians built pyramids, written history in the arts, engineering, architecture. Population: We currently have 6.3 billion. Based on current population there should have been only a handful of people 4,400 years ago. No living thing on the planet is older than 4,400 years. Example:The oldest tree in the world: BRISTLECONE PINE. The COELACANTH fish claimed to be extinct 65 million years ago. But it was recently found in Indonesia. We also have the law of Entropy, Symbiotic relationships. Carbon 14 radioisotope-doesn't work because the atmosphere has changed. The evolution theory started in the same era as slavery (1844) claiming some people were not as human as others. Trying to proove some humans were more highly developed than others. "survival of the fittest". Hitler used this believe when he committed genocide against the Jews.
"Survival of the species"
EVOLUTION UNDERMINES THE TEACHINGS OF GOD. Teens age 11-22 highest group committing suicide. They learn in school that they were a biological accident and that God has no plan for them. Suicide becomes an option since "God did not create you"
Scientists have spent a lifetime and millions of dollars trying to proove there is no one to be accountable to, therefore no God. They take so much pride in their own wisdom that in their hearts they despise God. They deceive the world and they lose their souls in the process.

Who has suggested that evolution is a lie? Furthur, who has ever insisted that Biologist and Archaeologist are liars? No one is lying to anyone. My analysis on the purpose of this question is that you are trying to gain a high ground of credibility to those who research and claim truth to the theory of evolution ---therefore, since we all know; both theist and athiest, that no one is claiming anyone liars, your questioned is rendered oblivious.

Lets look at the definition of a lie -- Lie (verb): to make an untrue statement with the intent to deceive . -- this means that in order for them to lie, they must know themselves what the speak is false.

My final point: I am a Christian, theist, "creationist" or w/e you may want to call me. I know what evolutionist teach is what they truly beleive, I DON'T beleive they are liars... but only choose to not beleive in what they teach.

For the purpose of opposing religion.
Many archaeological "discoveries" have been demonstrated to be complete frauds. Accomplished with willing participation of scientists who forward the idea that there is no GOD and only science can give real answers. Sociologically, they are attempting to replace religious doctrine with their own, creating a new religion. Therefore attaining political power. In this manner, they hope to build society in their image. Trouble with this is they begin with a logical fallacy, insisting that something does not exist simply because they have no evidence of it. and then challenge any evidence brought forward as inconclusive and there for false. by this same logic I could continually challenge nearly any scientific theory ad infinitum.

Its not a total "lie". Elements of Evolution are compatible with Christianity. But, evolution out of NOTHING is unacceptable.

CCC 283 - The question about the origins of the world and of man has been the object of many scientific studies which have splendidly enriched our knowledge of the age and dimensions of the cosmos, the development of life-forms and the appearance of man. These discoveries invite us to even greater admiration for the greatness of the Creator, prompting us to give him thanks for all his works and for the understanding and wisdom he gives to scholars and researchers. With Solomon they can say: "It is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists, to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements . . . for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me."

CCC 284 - The great interest accorded to these studies is strongly stimulated by a question of another order, which goes beyond the proper domain of the natural sciences. It is not only a question of knowing when and how the universe arose physically, or when man appeared, but rather of discovering the meaning of such an origin: is the universe governed by chance, blind fate, anonymous necessity, or by a transcendent, intelligent and good Being called "God"? And if the world does come from God's wisdom and goodness, why is there evil? Where does it come from? Who is responsible for it? Is there any liberation from it?

It's all a gigantic conspiracy by biologists in order to con money out of the government to pay their salaries for playing in the sandbox all day long. (Evolutionary biologists like tropical and exotic places to do research in, hurray for greater biodiversity in the tropics... - if that's arraged by god, does it mean god loves those evolutionary biologists more than other people?)

I don't think using a variation of :"if everybody jumps out of the window it's a good idea" is the best argument for evolution.

Unfortunately most good arguments for evolution require a certain biological knowledge to understand. If that's not there rational argument does not get recognized as rational.

Whether it is creation theory or evolution theory, if man is in doubt of God then he is in doubt.

Whether it is creation or evolution, if man has faith then he believes someone started either of the two.

Man, with his little mind, has been trying to understand God, since he cannot totally understand God now he'll just cover everthing beyond his grasp and things he cannot prove as non-existent. Pretty scientific huh..

That's a fine point. Potential motive should always be taken into consideration. For evolutionists (as we are called), there is no motive other than the passing on of what we find. For creationists, the motive is to preserve their crystal cathedrals and pay the light bills for their pastors....in other words, MONEY.
