Do you guys have any ideas on how to make an awareness of recycling program fun because my friends and I plan on doing one. Any suggestions will be fine.

Make it easy for the people you want to start recycling. Our city allows us to place everything in one bin, they do the sorting (or have contracted with a company). They give us guidelines and ask us to rinse out the jars and cans, but that is easy.
If you want to spread the word with "flyers" make paper and put wild flower seeds in the paper. You could say, Start recycling today with this paper-plant it and watch it grow. or You can make a difference with recycling, this paper was made with recycled materials, to plant the idea-place in dirt, add water! Make sure you don't use any chemically treated paper though.

To actually involve people in the recycling of some materials Example making empty cans into something usable.The same idea can be applied to other waste matrial that people will find useful to them. You can do this by organising a recycling fun club in your neoghbourhood.

get kids to make stuff and help collect as a school project.
get awareness meetings to explain all of the ways and stuff that can be recycled. also explain the dangers and stuff of waste materials. Show pictures of bad litter areas and start road clean-up groups. ho[pefully making people aware will help. good luck.
