a vaporizor with vicks will help ease breathing and loosen phlegm in the lungs, but most infections require antibiotics to stop, and if untreated it can turn nasty and potentially deadly. You should see a doc.

Most BACTERIAL infections require antibiotics. You can only get this info with a culture from a doctor. Liquids and rest is you best bet.
