Fairness Committee..I agree with you on that note..They are not like that at all
..They do believe in Jesus..I think maybe if they talked more about Jesus from time to time..people would realize that they do believe in him.

Moises_Frias..I see your point about Jesus..But, you need to maybe talk about him more on here even..Know what I mean? Talk about Jesus walking this earth..how he gave his life for us..Talk about him being our Savior. I know you believe this..but, your main focus is on Jehovah..which I am not saying is bad..but, Jesus is OUR Savior that God gave to us..and maybe if this was really talked about..people would come to realize that you do in fact believe in Jesus Christ.

unsilenced lamb..I agree with you..If someone tells an untruth that does not know what they are talking about..I will call them on it without hesitation. Its when former ones, tell what they know..and it is the truth..then they are told that they are lying..That is unfair..that is wrong..and I have seen it done on here many times..even to myself.

I am one that the Witnesses like to say makes up lies about them, but the fact of the matter is, I do not have to make up lies...My truthful experience, is enough to make your hair stand on end.

I see a lot of people who try to answer Witness questions, with mis-information...but for those who have been there, I have yet to see someone falsify things..If they did...I would call them on it...because it is important for us who have been there and have come out, to have some creditability.

This pretty much sums it up. The first was Jehovah the almighty. Why is Jesus called the first born or only begotten son of God? Because he is the only thing the father created.
The rest was all made by means of Jesus.
that is what we believe. That Jesus shortly will rule the world.
This scripture sums it up so it is not our idea but a bible teaching.

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19 because [God] saw good for all fullness to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens.

Revelation 3:14 “And to the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ce´a write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God,

There is a big difference between someone who is inaccurate or mislead and someone who purposely tries to pollute and distort genuine JW teachings.

If someone unknowingly lies about Witnesses it's one thing but the trolls on here purposely fabricate and tell half-truths.
Then they give a referance to apostate, one-sided websites.

As stated before, any sincere person can ask a JW them self or pray to God for direction if that's what they really want; an answer.

My true brothers and sister have handled the question very well...May Jah Bless!

There are a lot of people out there who would want you to be confused and stay in the dark.......these same people know nothing about Jehovah's Witnesses other than the lies they have been told and pass on to others.

Satan is instrumental in hiding the truth from the eyes of mankind, his mission is to see you dead!

So, JW's are maligned and lied on to the world. Satan throws out the bait, and it's grabbed and swallowed and everybody is so busy hating on the Witnesses, until they can't see their own life dwindling away.

If you really want to know something about the JW's, don't ask someone who is not one; go directly to the source my dear, and I guarantee that you will get a truthful answer.

Don't just take anybody's word for it.....why would you anyway?

Anonymous_me..... your answer to Katelynne's question gives evidence of the lies that are being told about Jehovah's Witness. Where you got that theory from is way beyond me....

As for the question itself... asking it over the Internet would not give you an accurate answer. Why not ask a Jehovah Witness in person the next time they visit your home.

I take your point about Jesus being our saviour. Jehovah's Witnesses published a book called 'The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived' which was all about Jesus' life, ministry and death, so they believe he has an important role in God's arrangement. However, if Jesus is our Saviour, what does that make the one who sent him?

During his ministry, Jesus always gave glory to His Father, he never took glory for himself. Jehovah's Witnesses try their best to follow Jesus' footsteps closely.

Honestly I think some of the funniest ones are: They don't use computers, they can't use aluminum, they aren't allowed to have windows/never have windows in their Kingdom Halls, don't believe in Jesus, are ALL (insert bad personality type) [as a rule, whenever someone claims ALL or NONE in a group are a way, you gotta wonder]

All these examples I gave I have read here.

I'm not one of them, but I have relatives that are.

People say they don't believe in Jesus. That's not true.

People say they are a cult, but nothing occult goes on during the gatherings. They just sing and then listen to speeches, and it's far less wild than some other churches.

I would not dignify lies by repeating them. Those who perpetrate lies know who they are, and what lies they have told. Repeating them over and over does not make them true but it does reinforce them in some peoples minds so that they believe they are true. At times, it is best to follow the example of our Lord Jesus and refrain from answering false accusations. (Mark 11:27-33, Mark 15:3-5) These accusing questions are not raised in sincerity, but with the aim of discouraging others from seeking Bible truth through Jehovah's Witnesses or even raising questions in the minds of Witnesses themselves.
