Actually, I do have a beautiful photo of an ape mother with her baby in her arms. The love of that mother for her baby is evident and moving.
I also live with a cat (a more distant relative).

No. Wrong kind of relative. When they we're related to primates, it's in terms of species. I'm not literally related to any monkeys.
