Due to this being new behavior I think a vet trip is in order. This is especially true since it's a recent post op change. There could be an infection going on, or even a possibility that something was left in her and is causing an infection. This is unlikely, but can happen. Usually there's not much put in the animal during a spaying as the incision is so tiny, but you can never tell. Have her checked out. You may need to get some blood tests.

I have a 1yr old male. At 5 months he was 90lbs. After that outbreak of bad dogfood he starting losing weight rapidly. Tried everything. His crap looked like cow patties. Finally took the dog to a specialist & not a Vet. Turns out that his pancreas does not work anymore. They prescribed a powder we sprinkle onhis food 15mins b4 serving. W/out the powder my dog would starve to death however he has always been starving since 10 months & the bad dog food is why. Vets will run you around & not fix the problem. Take the dog to a specialist because there are all kinds of problems w/ dogs now since the food contamination.

i had a dog that did the same thing. i called my vet and he recommended i get her some pedialyte and dramamine(sp). if she has blood in her stools and its runny and she throwing up she might have parvo. but my vet told me to go get her those things and give her a dramamine every 4 hours. then 45 minutes later giver her some pedialyte to keep her from getting dehydrated. if she has gotten in to some poison somewhere u can also give her aa little bit of peroxide that will help induce vomiting to get the poison out her system. also until shes eating good try giving her some food out of the pouch like pedigree cuz its soft and doesnt require alot of chewing

Have a look @ her teeth. if shes licking the food and not chewing it, there could be an abscess or anything back there. most importantly, she needs to be seen by a vet, and maybe not the 1 that fixed her...

Have her checked by a vet as soon as possible. She can have an infection in her throat or her gums, or a hurting or loose tooth, or also something wrong with her stomach.

have you de-worm them properly?
did you change their diet?
is she tired?
(i doubt she's having psychology problems feeeling less of a lady)
maybe...she needs attention(you knw, starving protest.)
i'd suggest you stay by her to encourage her eat more, praise her when she start chowing.
or~
play with her, and give her some treat once in awhile...(food treat)
if~
if she still isn't eating right, you'll need to buy some energy bar(sold in pet shops/vet clinic), these bars will contain most necassary nutrients to help keep the dog in shape.
worst case~
you'll need to take her to the vet.

I have to agree with the above posters about intestinal blockage or complications from her spay (such as adhesions etc..) PLEASE take your pup to the vet as soon as possible!! She could have swallowed a sock or have a twist in her intestines..anything!! She needs the vet immediately!!!

May refer to the vet. My aunt's dog once had it to, she took it to the vet and found that she had swallowed a nail. I think a X-ray might see it all....
