I can prove that god can do wrong. The people of Egypt used their right of free will. Yet god punished not them for that, but their first born innocent children. I call that wrong 9 ways to sunday!!!

Religion was never the issue. Belief is the issue. Belief stops the mind. Once a person decides to believe in a thing, they are, usually without realising it, making a choice to use ONE way to view the world. This ONE way is not false, it's simply one of many ways to understand human history. This makes a belief a truth....not a capital T-Truth, but simply one reality tunnel. This is why it is so important to practice, not prayer, but tolerance and acceptance of each other, because every one of us and the unique angle in which we view the world has something real and valid to offer. The more we can listen to each other, the more panoptic and diverse our understanding will become. Even atheism is just another religion without critical/constructive thinking.
So let go of dichotomy: right and wrong, this or that, good and evil...life offers and life is so much more than these archaic ways of commune. Forget god. Forget the devil, heaven and hell. Instead, turn your energies toward saying 'maybe' more often...
The only time you can be wrong is when you think you are right. Nothing in the universe stays the same; everything is in constant flux, changing invariably, yet in accordance to all surroundings that too are always adaptive = let our thoughts be so.

We cannot just use prayer to get everything we want, that would be taking God for a joke. Wrong things happen in the World due to sin and although praying may not seem to work in phsyical ways God will be with you, hold you and keep you strong

It seems like god talks to a lot of people and answers their prayers. I presume, then, that people did not pray for world peace and the elimination of hunger, disease, crime, ignorance, evil, and other things that impact humanity in a negative way.

1. Gi'me, Gi'me, Gi'me
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (or direct your paths)."1
I may not know how to spell it, but I sure know how to pray it! That is, "God, gi'me, gi'me, gi'me!"
It struck me recently how so many of my prayers are about me; that is about my asking God to gi'me (give me)—gi'me this, gi'me that, etc., etc., etc.
It reminded me of what John Powell wrote in one of his books: "Some people treat God like a Giant Bayer's Aspirin [pill]: 'Take God three times a day and you won't feel any pain.'"
Somebody else suggested that some of us treat God as if he were a giant vending machine. Put your money [prayer] in the slot, push the button for the product [whatever it is you want] and hey, presto, out it pops!
Others treat God as if he were an eternal Father-Christmas-God so that we can keep asking for and receiving personal gifts ... all the things we want ... all year long!
Others set God up as if he were co-dependent. That is, to do everything for us that we need to take care of ourselves but don't want to. The fact is that if God were to do anything for us that we can, should and need to do for ourselves, he would be keeping us over-dependent and immature—and we wouldn't be learning personal responsibility.
God will do anything for us that we can't do for ourselves. In fact he'll bend the heavens to touch the earth to do this for us—which he did when he sent Jesus, his Son, to die in our place to pay the penalty for our sins. But God won't do for us what we can and need to do for ourselves. He has promised to give us wisdom, guidance, and direction—but not to be our over-indulgent-vending-machine-sugar-daddy-god!
"Suggested prayer: "Dear God, today I am coming to you to listen. What can I do for you today? How can I be a part of your plans and what you are doing in the world today? Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name, amen."
P.S. Why not fill in the blank with what you think God would have you to do for him today:

Prayers are good. They let you talk to GOd and let out what might be hounding you at the time. God answers me too all the time. It is a good feeling when he does.

No.God will not answer your prayers if you are only praying to test Him. It is not within your heart and mind.Even before you will pray, he know your purpose.j

Who'd ya copy and paste this bit o' bull from cuz I know you didn't come up with this yourself. Have you ever prayed, Buddy? I have...I go there everyday and He has heard and changed my life so don't scoff at what you don't understand...or go ahead on second thought..scoff away...but take a real close look at your life first...see anything you don't like? Can YOU do anything about it? Love in Christ, ~J~

And?
[Referring to the ending statement by the way; not the opening question.]
You were about THIS close to getting reported by me for christian nonsense, but since you're only a misleading troll, I'll let it go for now.
