It's Mosul in turkish (Musul) north of Iraq: I wake up with bombs explosion sounds. I go to my work at 8 am , I see one or two dead bodies (huMAn) down the streets a week, some of them beheaded. people exposed to arbitrary fire shootings when US units and the anti-US fighting each other. Kurdish Militia arrested me (as Turkmen) twice and humilated me and I expect any time they arrest me. We should coincide the road side bombs which are supposed to blow out to Americans, mostly they blow out to US soldiers and hurt the Iraqis as well.

In Iraq, we have no man like M.K.ATATÜRK , Ours are trolls of Iran, Al-Qaeda and The USA.
I am a hopeful person.

Devlet, I believe we probably hear the same explosions sometimes.

Mosul is probably the most difficult city in Iraq, because it lies at a crossroads of so many types of people. There are Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen and a few that call themselves Assyrian still, and all of that just makes for a difficult time, even without the US.

I think it would surprise a lot of people to know how many Turks die on the roads in Iraq. Most of the drivers who deliver supplies throughout northern Iraq are Turks driving trucks from Mersin, Urfa, Gaziantep and Adana. I occasionally see a plate with 06 or 34, which should be familiar to some of you. These men don't have the armor on their trucks like the US does. They don't have the armor on their bodies the way the US does. In July, some of them didn't even wear shirts as they rolled southward.

I stood there and waved them goodbye so many times onto the first leg of their journey into Iraq. I prayed quietly for the whole group every night, and I was always glad to see their faces again.

I have personally delivered three Turk's bodies back to their families, and it's not a fun thing, especially to do it at 4 am on that little bridge over the Habur River, not allowed even to carry my weapon, relying just on my favorite linguist to let me know what's going on.

I don't like the way the silver box looks. I don't like the way the family sounds when we first open it. And I don't like the way the corner of the black bag feels in my hand.

Its too difficult to live under that conditions. God Damm Bush. (İlle de Türkçe demeliyim yoksa içim soğumayacak.. Allah Bush u kahretsin, neden olanların hepsini de)

Turks are not used to live slavery. Turkey should help Turkmens living mainly in Musul and kerkuk.

Northern Iraq cant be a solo country not only without approvel of Turkey but also WITHOUT WATER (I mean The rivers Euphrates and Tigris). Turkey never will accept establishment of a new country in northern Iraq.

In the latest edition of Armed Services (Silahlı Kuvvetler) magazine its written that, "Turkey may be forced to wage war to protect its citizens and living space.........."

And today barzani very first time accepted that "PKK is a terrorist organization"...

Allah yardımcınız olsun. Bu günler de geçer.

I have thought about that often. I simply cannot understand the neocon American's lack of sympathy to the human beings suffering from their political and military failure in Iraq.

I maynot agree with everything you say, but you can be sure that I feel all Iraqi's sorrows deep in my heart. Excepting the heartless villains who try to gain the political upperhand (by armed conflict and terrorism) and make some wealth out of the bloodshed, of course.

And the answer is, yes. You have to live even in war. Just keep your hopes high. No war goes on forever and there is always light ahead.

I understand what you're saying, I'm an Iraqi but don't live there anymore, but most of my family still lives there, primarily in Kurdistan where things are much better.
Its funny how some of you think its US thats killing the Iraqis, when all you have to do is take a look at who the terrorists are, they're Iraqis and other Muslims, not Americans. They're causing all this trouble in the region, do you think they'll stop if US leaves Iraq? No, because the rest of Iraq will keep fighting them, and thats what the good people of Iraq are doing, fighting these damn terrorists that are killing them daily. And those brave people are still going about their lives like normal, just like you.
One of my cousins was kidnapped and killed by these terrorists in Baghdad because he was part of the Iraqi police.
Yes it was the US who started this, and most Americans know it was wrong and they shouldn't have done it, but now they have to stay there if Iraq is to remain in one piece.

Instead of waiting a boom to kill me while I was sleeping my bed I prefer to die at the fight with my gun.
What did Iraq do ? Didn't fight . So there is nothing to do. That's Iraq people's choice to live (?!?) like that way.

Sad but true.
