..how the eath was made, who made it? That hot thing in the sky, what is it? And that shiny white thing at night which changes shape, what is that? Where does rain come from? And other phenomenons.
You decide to write what you think they are and who made them?
Question: what would you write to enlighten others?
Remember, there were no bible quotes 5,000 years ago, so not acceptable.

If you can only answer with bible quotes, don`t bother, only those who can think for themselves may answer.

JAICEE
5,000 years ago there was no religion, only supposition that certain `gods` made it rain, or snow or certain happenings which could not be explained.
What would you write down to explain to others?

The figure of 5,000 was just a starting point when some peoples learned to write. No-one yet has answered the question!! Can you not understand it? I did not ask when religion started - no-one knows anyway.

I would just write what I remember from modern science although I'd be more inclined to give the people of that time the scientific method than any individual facts.

Though of course providing a tribe I've made into atheists with more advanced technology would be very tempting.

Why could this question get deleted? I dont have a clue what faith i could be if I have been born 50 years in the past. this is form of like those questions that ask in case you have been born to a southern relatives for the duration of slavery could you have owned a slave. Who is conscious. i could desire that i could have widespread it grew to become into incorrect, yet once you're raised in a definite perception gadget you have a tendency to rationalize and have faith issues you would be able to desire to now not have believed growing to be up someplace else.

As my life is so entwined with the natural world and I am keenly aware of my frightening dependence upon it, you can be sure I would be religious and attribute some vast and incomprehensible powers to be in charge of each individual phenomena or even one incomprehensible power with different aspects. I don't think I could do any better than the Native Americans who saw roundness, renewal, rebirth, cycles of life in everything: birth/spring, prime/summer, mellowing old-age/autumn, and death/winter; renewal/rebirth/spring, and who saw the earth as mother and tomb who interacted with the sky to bring forth life. Such simple, profound beliefs are still highly relevant.

religion was strong 5000 years ago and their is evidence that the vedas from hinduism is 10,000 years old and the japanese religion shinto is about that old or started then at the start of the receding ice and shortly after, religion probably didnt start off as organised as it became by 5000 years ago it was probably a hodgepodge of beliefs in diffeent groups that evolvedin to more like we know it today.
some of the bible is about 5000 + years old in origin as if you look at the dates of certain pharoes it will be about 5000 years old
