hallo.

You know what made me to ask such a question?

About three days ago I was listening to one Preacher from the church of adventist; He said that ''All those who worship God on a day other than sartuday, they are wasting their time, Such people would rather look for something else to do which is profitable for them rather than wasting their time''

So if you have an idea please I need your view on this issue/matter according to scriptures.

EVERY day is the right day to worship God!!!! Is there a day He doesn't deserve to be worshiped? You don't have to be with other believers to worship God. You can worship him when you're all alone. Being a Christian isn't about keeping rules. It's a real relationship with Jesus,God's son, day by day. If your were to worship God throughout the week then your times of group worship would be so much more meaningful to you. Try it.

I doubt that God would agree with the pastor that worshiping is a waste of time.

How do you know such an entity exists, have you ever seen it? I ask because I think people are highly brainwashed by religion. I can't see how, if this entity exists, then why it doesn't interview and sort out this dreadful world we live in. I don't believe in the "freedom of choice" answer. A parent would intervene if they thought that their child was going on the wrong path and try to lead them back to the right road, not just let them get on with destroying their lives and that of others. Religion is the cause for wars and other evil things that have happened throughout the centuries,so how can it be a good thing? Religion has been use to cover up and justify killing people and is still going on today. If there was no religion then the world would be a better place. I know of so called religious fanatics/bible bashers as they are known in my circle of genuine friends, who wouldn't give a blind man a light. So how can it be good! I think there is more evil in religion than we actually know about. You only have to look back in history to see this! So in answer to your question, you can worship whenever you want, but you'd be better advised to use your energies doing something good for people who need help. Why would you wish to be a part of something that throughout centuries has caused so much misery to so many by their evil actions. Burning people at the stake, stoning to death, all theses things and more are in the Bible and all have been done in the name of religion.

If it's me, I say knock yourself out any old time. I don't think anyone's listening, so when I do this it's a personal moment. SDAs have a major issue with Sunday becoming Church Day and when you consider the importance of the Ten Commandments, which say "Honor the Sabbath and keep it holy," it is easy to see their point.

Understand - the tradition of Not Working on the Sabbath, and attending services does NOT relieve Jews (or any other pious person) from thinking about and talking to their God every waking moment.

The Sabbath is and always has been from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, as the day starts when it is dark (for there was darkness before there was light on the first day.)

The only way to worship God is with a spirit of truth and you should be doing that constantly, as for keeping the sabbath it's one of the ten commandments and is kept by keeping that day holy as a day of rest. There is nothing biblically wrong in going to church on a Sunday for in the new testament Paul was teaching on the first day of the week, but you should still be keeping the seventh day holy. Some sects of Christianity teach that we are no longer required to keep the ten commandments but the truth is the sabbath predates the 10 commandments in genesis God said that he set apart the seventh day and sanctified it, so no other day is sanctified by God from the beginning but Saturday. As for knowing which day of the week is the seventh day we know by the Hebrew calender which has not changed and the Hebrews know which day is the seventh because God would not give them manna from the sky on the seventh day when they where in the desert in exodus.

The guy has missed the point. It's every day. God isn't looking for legalistic attitudes and judgmentalism, which are warned against in the Bible, he's looking for people whose hearts and eyes are turned to him. Worship should not be confined to one day, it wouldn't matter if we all went to church on a Monday, the principle is the same.

We should be worshipping the Lord God everyday. However, the tythe of time that God asks for is specifically commanded to be given on the seventh day and has never been changed in scripture. How it was changed was through the melding of pagan practices with Judeo Christian principles in and around the 3rd century through Constantine who began the Romans on a path toward religious tolerance...for a price. So then you have the Roman Catholic Church which is prophecied of in Revelations...check out chapter 11. The Two Witnesses are the Old and New Testaments...The Law and The Prophets, Moses and Elijah. The Seventh Day Adventists are good people and they have alot of truth but sometimes I believe they are too legalistic and hold the teachings and writings of their founder at the same level as the Bible. However, the one truth they do have that I have discovered just by happenstance is that the Sabbath is key in understanding the mystery of the Kingdom of God. I don't think Sunday worship is a waste of time...to much good comes from it if it is sincere worship because many of those christians love God too its just that they have been misinformed and fall short in studying the scriptures as the SDAs, the Berean Church and the Church of God emplore their members to do. There are so many scriptures that I couldn't list them here but I would like to point out just a few key facts...

The Sabbath was established BEFORE the fall of man.

Jesus kept the Sabbath even in death.

There is no known scripture that calls for the change of the sabbath but there is one that alludes to the prophectic change of it...

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change TIMES AND LAWS: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The only Law having anything to do with time was the tythe of time of the Sabbath (by the way if you deduct 7 hours of sleep from the entire week...you have exactly 10 percent of your week in tythe on the Sabbath).

The Mark of the Beast is believed to be an implimentation of some sort of technology in the last days...however, the Bible uses the Forehead and the Hand as symbolic for knowledge and labor...so while I do believe that the beast is technology, the economy, labor, education, and the increase in knowledge...the mark has to do with people no longer following any of the commandments of God except those that are imposed by society such as "thou shalt not murder". This is how I got there...

Revelation 14:10-12
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and THEY HAVE NO REST DAY OR NIGHT, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep THE COMMANDMENTS of God, and the faith of Jesus.

The Catholic Church is said to be the Apostate church and I believe it because of the historical evidence of the early church and the non-biblical sacrements and doctrines that are taught but the worst accusation that can be thrown at this false church is that the pope is the beast and is image. The Beast is the Roman Catholic Church and his image would be the Protestant Churches because they have unwittingly copied the false doctrines of the first by inheriting these traditions of sunday worship and others. After careful consideration all of this could use some careful study...not because of the message here but because the more you know the more you see how true and powerful the Word of God is and therefore your faith is increased and you become a stronger child of Christ. Brace yourself though. Satan doesn't want you in the Book learning all this...He'll distract you anyway he can..I know...I went through it. Its worth it though. God bless you in your search and if you have any questions..email me. Love in Christ, ~J~

The LORD created the earth in 6 days and rested on the seventh-day.On that he rested, blessed the day and sanctified it.That is certainly the Day when he should be worshiped.Anyhow a person can worship the Lord everyday, there is no problem, just an obligation.Exodus 20:8 explains all.Even Jesus went to worship on Saturday temple.
It is also the 4th commandment, thus it should be observed in order to keep the all LAW.Breaking one means breaking all of them James 2:30.And hey Sin is simply breaking Gods law.Lawbreakers shall not enter Gods Kingdom.

How about every day for you? Then you and your co-religionists read your holy book and decide to the best of your ability which day you think is most appropriate for getting together as a community to celebrate and to read the holy scriptures, pray, and discuss community business. Why do you need some religious elite clergyperson in this day of literacy and education to do your thinking for you?
