i bonded my inmate out on a bond set by probation for an fta. it seems as though he may be held even though he was bondable. Do they FORGET to vacate the bond and then hold them alot? He is awaiting sentancing on another case, and it looks as though he'll get probation again, why should he be held after i posted bond? Its their mistake, and it is put through already. Im soooo frustrated!

If he was being held on a Failure To Appear and a bond was attached (rare, in my experience in a FTA) than as soon as you post bail they will be released.

There has to be some other hold the courts have on him. They did not and do not "forget" to vacate the bond. The court still has a hold somewhere.

Do you have an attorney? If not, call the clerk of courts office, or the jail where he is being held and find out exactly why he is still being held. If you bonded him, you will have paper work saying so.

Probation hold could be appealed if there are valid grounds.
