what motivates me to ask my questions is just when i think of something im going through or how i feel, then i think gee i wonder what other people think of that
and about the best answer,
i dont worry about best answer cos i know how hard it is to choose one, like when u answer me i feel like giving u best answer everytime but ive got other ones aswell that i sometimes choose, i feel guilt sometim,es
i gotta tell u a story, 5 days ago i saw a question that no one answered in music,, i tried my hardest to think of the answer, and i edited about 4 times and kept checking the net till i got the right answer, i was so proud of myself as i gave someone an answer they were after,, i expected best answer cos it that time of half an hour where i searched no one else knew it
anyway the next day i checked the question and it was resolved, she gave best answer to the answer under mine who gave the same answer!!!! and i even got a thumbs down!!!!!!!!!!!!!wtf, i could tell that the other answer thumbed me down so that she would look better,,, i wanted to cry cos i busted my @rse to give an answer,,, xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
i hope u understood all that, lol
i get yahoo rage

When I've put in quite a bit of thought and/or have spent time researching the answer, I do hope to get best answer....but there are quite a few people giving helpful answers. As long as a daft answer isn't chosen, then I'm content.
I enjoy giving a humorous answer sometimes too, and feel somewhat embarrassed if I get a best answer for that!
It's only need that drives me to ask a question, such as understanding how this whole yahoo thing works when I first started and I got some helpful answers.

Sometimes it bothers but then I think that at least I have someone at least to some extent and with my positive answers he/she must be feeling good or relief of some tensions. One thing that motivates me most is that you can ask anything , any problem be it a personal, professional or any type and nobody is going to know you.And when you ask some solutions for some serious problem and when people responds positively to your questions you feel a great relief and also some thing like an another world with an very familiar attitude. You forget for sometime all your fears and problems hoping you will get solutions here.

Of course, I want to give the best answer, but if I do not, it is OK!
What IS important to me is, finding out if, other people out in the world have the same opinions, likes, dislikes, philosophy on life and ideas, that I have. It sort of gives me a check list as to how everyone thinks. I ONLY ask thoughtful, serious questions.

I generally ask a question because i would like to get anothers perspective on the answer and I have never cared less about getting the Best answer but recently i secretly harbor a desire to win.

Lol sometimes it does when i write a really long answer and ppl just ignore it...and the person who does get best answer hasnt even answered the question or sometimes their answers are one sentences or so lol. But in a way it bothers evryone...it's alright though cos we get 2points answering and u lose 5 asking lol.
Take care.

No......It doesnt bother me at all.
After seeing how yahoo handles the things here, I cant bother about that.
Most of the times I reply coz of fun. That doesnt mean that I dont like serious questions also, I like too much reply them seriously.
About to ask questions, I do it only from time to time, and sometimes, if I think that is not important I prefer not to ask.
but.....I do it when I see that the category is in the edge of getting suspensions, so that's why I start "Lebanon category..."

No, it doesn't bother me to not get Best Answer, but I sure do love to get them!! (It builds up the fragile ego, you know...)
;-)
Although, it is kinda funny...sometimes there are answers that I am particularly proud of (if I do say so myself *smile*) and so I might reeeeeaaaaallllly hope to get Best Answer on that one, but instead to get it on some question that I hardly even thought about the answer...now THAT cracks me up!
LOL
