Bible is clear. If you know ANYTHING about Rabbinical Order, you know that John the Baptist was born on Pesach. (Passover)

This can be figured out through the book of Jeremiah.

Elizabeth (John the Baptist's MOM) was 6 months along right after MARY (Jesus mom) got pregnant.

AND thats clear in Luke 1.

So, take Passover and ADD 6 months. There we have the FEAST of JOY, the feast of Tabernacles, aka SUKKOT. Next week. He is our JOY, born on the feast of commanded JOY.

Does this not make better sense than being born an a pagan holiday?

So.....are you going to ignore His real birthday and CONTINUE to keep the pagan day this year?

OR

Celebrate Sukkot?

I would like to learn about Sukkot. We gentiles are in the dark and should know more about these feasts since Jesus observed them. I think learning about this is a very good idea! May the Lord bless you for bringing this to our attention!

Yeshua was born at Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, which is why Zechariah said that one day every nation on earth will celebrate that feast.

Until the nation I live in recognizes this, we won't be able to get the week off. My husband and I have never had a Christmas celebration. For Sukkot, even though we must work, we can set aside the evenings. This is a joyful feast. Whatever you can do to celebrate it will be a blessing.

For all the Christians who have been kept in the dark about this feast, it's explained really nicely at the linked website (and dozens of others).

You are quite right about Jesus' probable, authentic date of birth, but for Christians, who are under the NEW Covenant, the old feasts (and the old law) are no more.

Still, Jesus and I are going to celebrate his birthday by having breakfast together.

As you probably know, Jesus frequently dines with sinners.

I knew that His birth was not in December. But did not know the real one. Thanks for the information. But I believe as Christians, we ought to be celebrating everyday of the year! We live bcos of Him.
God bless!
