When I came to the office today, I saw the till was not closed, and the money in there was not put into the safe. I saw those things so I immediately ran away. I didn't know whether I should tell my boss or not because there's been stealing in my offices. I feared that she might be suspecting me of stealing money when the till was open. So I decided not to ring my boss. Then she came in with another staff. And I have not told her for the whole day. When I talked to it to my dad, he said I should not go to see the till and it's all my responbility for not telling the boss about it. I am not sure whether I should do now because it seems to me that it's now to late to tell her all this.....I am very confused and my dad said my boss is not going to trust me anymore...what should I do now?

The thing is because of my curiosity, i went to have a look at the till, and my presence has already alarmed the hidden camera....so I might be involved in the thing whenever I want to or not.

Tell your boss

If there was a robbery, you should've rung the police, and made sure nothing, and nobody touched the scene....or you've killed all the evidence.

It's logical to assume the business has had episodes of employee theft and that your bosses may have already installed a hidden cam eyeing the till for theives.

It could also be the ones responsible for the till negelcted their expected duties as well.

In either case, it's best to discreetly tell the boss what you've seen. Be careful NOT to have other co-workers (even those you trust) know of your disclosures to the boss.

I think you should tell her. It's the simplest thing you can do, and if she doesn't believe you (I think she will though), then she wasn't going to believe you anyway. If you really want to gain someone's trust, then you have to be honest with them when it really matters. Then the ball is in her court to believe you or not. But eventually she will believe you...whether sooner or later, is the only question. Good luck and God bless.

you aren't stealing the money and you have no reason to tell her... If you aren't doing anything wrong then there is no need to worry but the next time this happens tell right away so you don't worry later on about this...
