Yet dismiss the burning times when they burnt people alive?

Isn't this no better than when the Christians were prosecuted?

I've never burned anyone alive. What a horrible way to kill someone.

No, that's no better. However, most of us realize that to put blame on the "descendants" of the group that did such things is asinine. I don't hate the Romans for their persecution of Christians, and I don't hate the Germans for what was done to the Jews. You get what I'm saying?

Because those people who burnt others alive aren't Christians. It's not the Christian way.

But those killed for being Christians were certainly living in Christ's steps, because "the slave is not greater than the master." Just as He was killed, so are His followers.
