There's a person that I got to know. She's very smart and seemed ok. Until she said, do not bring God into any conversation. That's when she told me about her believes in "Chaos". She really belives in it so much that she has a tattoo of the star of chaos (black star with four arrows, pointing four ways). I really like her but, that's a little to strange. Should I be concern?

It's a form of magick. You can read about it here and decide for yourself.

Personally, I prefer the chaos theory (which has nothing to do with chaos magick)- but that's just me.

Its quite rare to find a person who thinks deeply about how the universe came to be, and that is an encouraging sign in anybody. You may not share her ideas, so perhaps you can both grow to understand more by exploring how you see the world and why that is so.

There are plenty of dictionary definitions, occult writings and ideas about chaos, just as there are about Christianity, but what is important here is how she thinks, and how you think, and where you go from there.

The fact that she is a little different need not disturb you, try to understand the differences, and once you have done that, if you are still concerned perhaps that is the time to act on it. Right now you have a whole lot to gain and not much to lose.

Nothing to worry or be upset as it's more of a passing fad .There is a theory of Chaos but one can't live a life by it.I don't think she fully understands that either. As for as God is concerned,it should be fine as many people pretend to be non believers in God ,just to be with the crowd.Have a nice time.

Don't know about your friend, but Ive always believed CHAOS was when your pork rinds go stale while you are handling a rattlesnake as baby Jesus tells you to do in the Old Testament.

A belief in god means that you belief in some great plan that we can't understand. Non belief in god means that nature will follow the path of least resistance (which it does). This might be seen by some as chaos

Put simply she doesn't believe in god but still wants something to believe in - she could be right

Chaos occultists are a little hard to relate to. They are not terribly honest, and rather manipulative. I think a lot of them are into chaos magic, because they don't want to follow the rules. I personally don't like being around them because you can't trust them.
