How do you feel when (or if it has never happened to you - how would you feel) someone dislikes your answer so, as a way of censoring your opinion, they block you and, therefore, disallow you to view their question in the future.
I ask you in the religious section because I know religion is all about censorship, so I figure the religion section probably has a large number of religious types censoring people.
I was just censored by a Muslim (♫♡ﷲMuslimah), because I told her that her prophet Muhammad had sex with little kids (which he did).
Anyway, isn't this just another way for people to censor opinions that harm their precious view of the world?

Oh, and I promise not to censor anyone for attacking my precious atheistic beliefs, of which I hold dear (of course), or my beliefs that religious people are fools. Attack away, please!

atheist: you're a fool
christian (or whatever religion): no, you're a fool
atheist: no, you're the fool,
christian : I'm not a fool, you're a fool
atheist: no, you're a fool
christian: no you're a fool
I guess they feel it is better to block the person than continue to have a pointless, argument that accomplishes nothing.
Though there are some that block others because they don't want to hear any other points of view and then there are some that block others (and it is the only reason I would block) because that person was deliberately disrespectful ,crude or vulgar towards them or their beliefs.
I don't know if this is true about Muhammed, I never researched - but the guy probably has not a clue either and probably viewed it as disrespectful. I would at hte very least research and find out for myself. No different than many Christians who plug their ears when told all the holidays they observe derived from paganorgees and child sacrifice rituals.
They choose not to learn about what they believe .
I would not take offense to being blocked- I don't agree with what you believe but it does not mean you are not knowledgeable about certain things - just dont be offensive in the way you present the facts and then how the facts are received is on them.

I have never been censored (which actually surprises me, considering the quality of some of my more recent answers), but I wouldn't feel all that bad; I would be a bit annoyed, however, because I feel that any ANY type of censorship is just plain wrong, and shouldn't be allowed, even (or perhaps especially) when it's the administrators (Yahoo) doing the censoring!

I can totally see why this person blocked you. What you said may be true from your point of view, but it's highly controversial and highly offensive. Freedom of speech doesn't and shouldn't mean saying whatever you want and offending whoever you feel like. Be a little tactful. If you're going to shoot your mouth off without any thought or concern for the feelings and beliefs of others you should expect to be blocked. I believe in freedom of speech, but I also believe in the right to not listen. I'm not saying that you can't disagree, just do so respectfully.

It doesn't matter if they block me from seeing their questions any more... The fact is my answer is still on their page and I won't cry or go nuts just because I can't find their Q/A's anymore. And if I really wanted to see my response on their page, I'd make another account and go see it...
But it's not really that serious...I really don't care..
Barbie's wrong...if they take the question down..it's says that the question has been removed by the asker... and if yahoo takes it down it says, that the question is no longer available.. but if they block you, it says that you are unable to view the question as this time..meaning if they unblock you, you can see it again...

I am a fundamentalist Christian and totally unashamed, so I'm sure our views differ. (Thanks for calling me a fool. That's nervy since you don't know me. How old did you say you are?)
Nevertheless, part of maturity is learning that the world does not always agree with you outside of your sandbox and your backyard.
It is a requirement of life to get older and eventually die. It is NOT a requirement to grow up. Yahoo requires a backbone and maturity for continued participation without being offended. Its really easy to handle if you do get offended. Quit playing. Go away.
Dust yourself off and move on. I have no time to listen to a closed mind. Have a nice day child.

Muslims have nothing to fear, except the TRUTH thats why in Islamic Nations it is ILLEGAL to own a Bible, the Muslims are so afraid of the truth that they try to hide from it
You are right Mohammad was a Child Molester and Mass Murderer, his own parents did not follow his religion nor consider him a Prophet.

well... i agree with you... even though i don't know who that muslim was, is or what he did is in fact true...
but if you ask a question you have to count with people saying things you disagree with, which is a good thing, considering the fact you can widen your horizon or maybe learn something you didn't think possible...
unless you start saying raping children and animals is okay or something in that nature, i don't think you should block or censor anybody...

Nobody wants to attack you or your beliefs. Nor do we feel the need to abuse others about the things they do or who they believe in. I heartedly recommend that you take your energy and focus it toward loving others instead of tearing people down. You have a short life, my friend, and to live it stirring hate and anger is truly a waste of time. Why don't you talk about something important - something that would benefit society. Your opinions are welcome - but not your insults and hate.

Makes my day. I find it comical. It's happened to me two or three times, and not for anything controversial like religion either. I'm talking about things like hair or weight-loss. One was for giving the wrong answer (I suppose) to a question about what the name of a painting was. I appreciate your opinion that I'm a fool, by the way, and won't block you for being misinformed.
