I see people here referring a lot to Atheist-agnostics and Theist-agnostics. The general consensuses seems to be that a person claiming to be an Agnostic has to be one or the other; either they don't believe we can know if a god exists or not, but generally believe one does, or they don't believe we can know if a god exists or not, but generally believes one doesn't.
But I'm really in the middle. I don't believe we can know if a god exists or not, and that's all I believe. Furthermore, I don't believe the existence of a god matters at all to us in our daily lives. We spend way too much time debating and searching and praying and proving, and not enough time living.
So what am I?

beletje_vos, no, I'm not really, and I'm sorry, but I don't think you can tell me what I am, seeing as you're not me.

Willy, I agree with you, it's just frustrating when I'm talking to someone, they ask what I believe and I try to explain myself, then they attach a label I don't agree with to me.

Because agnosticism ONLY means without knowledge - it is not a stance on belief (or lack of).
You ARE atheist or theist. Or versions of them - like deism is a version of theism.
"I don't believe we can know if a god exists or not, and that's all I believe." THAT'S agnosticism! You only mention knowledge here... not belief.
By the sound of it, you are the way we're born as - atheist-agnostic. It's the default state -- (so I'm not saying what you are... if you have no position as you claim then you're in the default - it's simple logic). You're at the lowest of it. One can strengthen this position without being gnostic. For example, I see myself as 99.99% atheist-agnostic --- but using percentages is nit-picky.
*edit* In that case, just go by Richard Dawkins "agnostic-agnostic" position:
4. Exactly 50 per cent. Completely impartial agnostic. "God's existence and non-existence are exactly equiprobable."
On his scale.

You're simply agnostic. Don't let anyone try to fit you into some box. You know best about what exactly you believe, so if somebody tries to label you something you're not, they're simply wrong.
I'm an atheist and I've often heard theists say there's no such thing as a real atheist, we must believe their God exist and are just in denial or hate God or something. It's annoying to listen to such ignorance, but nobody knows better what I believe than I myself. Those people are simply wrong, as are those who claim you must be either atheist-agnostic or theist-agnostic.

Agnostic theist - Believes in a deity, but does not know if a deity exists. To be more specific, I don't believe that the bible is what I should believe in, but I do believe there is some sort of god, but can not be certain.

I'm agnostic too. But I don't believe that we 'can't' know if there is a god or not, I believe we 'don't' know if there is a god or not. Also, just because I'm totally open to the possibility of the divine does not mean I believe in any religion that I have heard of/looked into/practiced.
Agnostic pretty much means skeptic. For me it's not about asserting absolutes about unknowns. It's about questioning and keeping my mind open to possibility.

Why do you feel the need to label what you believe, you are free to believe what you want to, why does your belief have to fit into someone elses box. I do not believe in a god, but I believe in life after death ( reincarnation), I do not consider myself agnostic or atheist, I just believe what I believe and I do not worry about labelling it.

You are normal, don't worry about it. I feel the same way you do but I don't try to label myself. I find it hard to admit to most ppl that I feel this way. The very religious ppl look down on us with their holy er than thou crap. You don't need another label, if ppl ask and you want to tell them . Just say how you feel and tell them you don t believe in labels.

You are what you believe you are my dear. No one can tell you otherwise, but people do tend to 'code' people as one thing rather than the other... i'm sure you can care less for them.
We would never know if there is a God till such time as come.
