I always feel more rested when I go to sleep before midnight. Of course it's 2 AM where I live right now, but hey! I've also heard that 9:30PM-2AM are the "golden" hours. If you can sleep between those hours you'll add years to your life!

There are many issues concerning sleep disorder. The reason that you "feel" that you are not getting enough sleep, even though you slept through 10 hours could be:
1) You are too stressed up by something. e.g work, school, personal problems. One solution is to have regular exercise to relieve your stress.
2) Do not read or watch TV just before you sleep. If you do that, your brain did not "get ready" for the sleep, and therefore, even if you do sleep throughout the night, your brain is not resting and thus you feel tired even though you did sleep a lot.
3) Do you snore? If yes, you could be experiencing narrowing of your air pipe during your sleep, and thus causing oxygen intake to reduce. If oxygen intake is reduced, your body and brain did not get the necessary amount of oxygen required, and thus you would usually feel veyr tired the next day.
4) Do not eat 4 hours before you sleep. If you do, your stomach is working throughout the night trying to digest all the food, and thus, your body is not resting enough!

the quality of sleep is more important than the quantity.
if you are getting that much sleep either you are sleeping longer than you need to be or the quality of the sleep that you get isn't very good. if that's the case you need to find out what in your life, etc. is causing this problem. human adults should not need 9-10 hours of sleep daily to function properly only young children need that much sleep daily. teens need 8-9 and children from the age of 6-12 need about 10 hours on average.

fix yr time to bed at the same time everyday, then after a couple weeks u will feel fresh. But don't sometime go to bed early or sometime very late, this will make u very tired.

Just try to make your plans for the day not so lpng, and if your at home and hve nothing to do, just go to sleep!
And actually, believe it or not, but if you d qite a bit of excersise before your going to bed, it makes you more tired!
