Well you are correct in may of the points you noted. There are real issues in society in general not just with homosexuals or heterosexuals. Our whole society is full of problems. I think for the most part and by that I mean 99% all of our faults for allowing things to have gotten this far. I would point out that it was the homosexual community that spread AIDS like a wildfire. This is true as far as American history shows. The bath houses and casual sex and sex with many different partners lead to the explosion of the AIDS problem. Other than that I can see no major issue with the homosexual community. I say that pointing fingers is now a little late. Now we must all work on reevaluating our society and begin fixing all the problems that are running crazy in America. What you said about divorce is true, far to many people give up or give in and do not bother to fix that which is really only slightly bent and in doing so end up breaking it. We have kids in high school who can hardly read, children with no fathers and in reality not even a real mother. Herpes is so common that now we see ads running on the TV for medications to help treat the virus. So I do not blame homosexuals for a majority of the issues, yet they like the heterosexuals are just as much to blame. It's time to stop being like “poor me” and begin to acknowledge the problems of society and begin to work on fixing them.

Christians have always pointed fingers at heterosexuals, where have you been? Before the big gay marriage movement it was all about the heteros. Your probably gay and are just noticing it more because of that. The media controls how people think they show controversy to get ratings, thus when the hetero thing became pretty common they had to find fresh fish.

Dude, you're right. People shouldn't point fingers at gays. Like you say, sin is sin, whether it's committed by heteros or homos.
But remember, that Matthew 7:3 reference works both ways. The point is, we should be looking at the model for Christian living, namely Jesus Christ, not ourselves or any other human.
Be blessed.

If you're going to talk to Christians, then why mention "the majority of people?"
Jesus said that those who find the way are few in number.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Um they're all sins, Christians point fingers at all of them, plus homosexuality is just unnatural, havn't you read the verse that says, "a man shall not lie down with another man" just like all other immorality Christians condemn it, hey better than the Catholics right, priests raping little boys and no one even nows what they believe, the day I see a gay couple married in my town is the day this world fails.

Both are way, way wrong. I don't disagree with you at all. Homosexuality is the "sin of the month" right now in the media. It's the one that is trying to "cleanse" itself by trying to pass a law to protect it. So please forgive this straight Christian person for ignoring your "pet" sin.

Agreed. However, if churches started to shun all the adulterers, fornicators, greedheads, and liars like they do gays, the pews would be completely empty...

My sect has a single moral code for its members: no sexual acts outside the bonds of marriage.

1) the gays are the ones who are actively seeking my endorsement and approval
2) the other sinners ( adulterers, child molesters, whores, whoremongers etc etc) are not seeking my endorsement and approval
Personally, in all truthfulness, it is the gay or gay supporter who intiates my commentary, otherwise I do not address it!

Trust me on this one thing, those people trying to condemn other people in the name of God know nothing about God and in many cases know nothing of people, especially themselves.
Love one another as I have loved you.
