I would bring it to a hospital or police station - they have methods to dealing with this.

Take it straight to the hospital then show the police where the baby was found and then me being such a big softie and a huge kid person I'd apply for foster care over the child , I wouldnt get it but it'd be well worth a try just to stay in touch with how the baby is.

Infants are person like us. Who will be our heir in the next generation. If we will follow the Biblical order of love, then it becomes a privilege and responsibility for us to take care of that infant, mold in the way she/he would grow for when she/he is old anthropologically will never depart from your good teaching and moldings. The 3 systems of motivations must be well balance which are 1. Fear motivation, 2. Incentive motivations, and 3. Self motivations.

I would take it to a hospital to make sure it's alright and call the police while it is there,I would wait until they arrive and see what they would do before i left. I wouldn't leaveif the child wouldn't be taken care of.

I hope i dont sound harsh...
I have been taught this since childhood...
"if you find something that doesnt belong to you (out of place)... do not touch it... or it will become your obligation to find its rightful owner. if you cannot find the rightful owner you must do what you deem best."
I think that might apply to a human as well. i would LIKE to help. but being in my situation... with no resources or finances. most my finances go into charity anyway. So i would leave the child. not trying to be cruel or harsh... but the child probably wouldnt be better of with me, and i would be worse off with it.
hopefully one day my situation will change.

either take it to the hospital or police, both would be better places than anything else....probably the hospital first....at least they are prepared at the hospital for anything should anything happen to the baby....
