Praetorian, was that really necessary? Your comments are incredibly condescending and demeaning. Why would you even want to be so rude and insulting? What do you gain from making comments of such a negative nature? Is it possible that could actually make you feel like a better person? Surely there must be a more insightful and logical reason? God is the only one who never sleeps. He is always on the job. He is everywhere present, so he is aware of you and your questions. He knows everything about you. He knows every thought. He loves you and is speaking to you, through the Christians who speak to you everyday on Yahoo.
Since there are Christians around the world, there are Christians who are awake somewhere 24-7. Someone is always available to pray for you and with you. My prayer for you right now is that God will have mercy on your soul, opening the eyes and ears of your heart, enabling you to hear His truth .
There are many books written by former atheists who spent years in study, trying to prove that God is just a "story", which man made up to ease the pains of life. It would be my suggestion that you read some of them. I think you will find you have much in common with them. Josh McDowell is one author who spent years trying to refute the existence of God.

A true Christian behaves like a Christian when they are not as church as well as when they are there.
If they are a true Christian they will not be partying the night before as you mentioned. We, as Christians are to be seperated from the world, to be as a city that is set on a hillside that cannot be hidden.
You will know us by the fruit we bear. There is much more to being a Christian than going to Church to fill the pews.

Atheist say you cannot prove God exists, yet they cannot prove God doesn't exist. And therefor are agnostic the theory that someone can be a true atheist is disproven by this one question.
