Ok, I need help settling a debate with a friend of mine. He says that Glock makes a stock or factory finish two-tone Glock. Black polymer frame and stainless slide. I have never seen one in any gunshop nor on any website. Does anybody know if they do or not. If Big D answers this question (my friend in question) mark him with a bad flag....LOL.

If Glock makes it I would like to see it. The Glock website does not show it. One of my buddies is the Glock mechanic around here and he says they don't make.

Stock/barrel combos are available to convert Glocks to carbines. I believe they use stainless barrels but these are NOT FROM GLOCK. They are from an other outfit.
Now you can get factory Glock polymer frames in different colors like o/d green but the slide and barrel are still black. Of course, you can have a Glock slide plated but this is not a Glock factory job. Stainless steel barrel are available for Glocks but they are aftermarket, not Glock factory.
Best.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think Glock sells any two tone pistols, all of their stock pistols are black polymer frame, with black Tenifer finished slides and barrels.
Of course, I've seen a number of two tone Glocks, but to my mind these are customized stainless/silver finishes, and not stock.
Glock makes a big deal over "non-reflective" surfaces in its slides, so the gun doesn't shine and give away its position, or glare when lining up the sights, so it doesn't seem logical for them to offer two tone models.
Just my two cents worth.

The only finish that I have ever heard of which deviated from the standard black are the special edition OD and desert tan models. Glock does NOT use stainless steel for their slides.

Glock does not make a stainless-finished slide. All of their guns come with slides that have been Tennifer-finished in black.
Any shiny Glock slides that you see have been hard-chromed by aftermarket mod shops.

Glock offers a couple of different options on colors now. But they are tan or green on standard lowers. Then, they offer a couple that are all desert tan or od green. I haven't seen one with a stainless slide yet.
