hey whats your favorite part of the bible.

Here's mine!

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again.
EXODUS 21:7-11 NLT

I personally like Luke 19:27, where Jesus tells his followers:

And those, mine enemies, who would not that I should reign over them, bring them hither and slay them before me.

Yay. So basically, Jesus is admitting he's the beast of Revelation. Interesting?

I LOVE ALL OF THE BIBLE

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

YOUR FAVORITE VERSE

EXODUS 21:7-11 NLT

The Exodus began year 2513, 857 years after the flood, and in 40 years they
were in the Promised Land in year 2553, 897 years after the flood and 1513
before Christ, the twelve tribes of Israel are family with the law of the land and
the laws of God.
Slave, servant, worker, hired hand or employee [ to family members if they are of the twelve tribes of Israel ], and many did this on their own. People have to do what ever it takes to make a living no matter what time period they are in and all go with the flow of that time period and what ever is the method supporting self and caring for responsibilities, if this is not the case with the female, her father can take her back.

Well you don't understand the bible at all then do you?

You are imposing modern culture on ancient culture. Again, in ancient times if you were not a master you were a "slave" or "servant." This was how people were employed. This passage is saying you can’t just toss the girl on the street if you don’t want her service anymore like they do to the men when the contract is up. You also, can't sell her to an evil master outside of God's people and allow her to be treated as a prostitute. If she is married to a son of the house then the father cannot assert his authority as master any longer, she is now a member of the family and an owner of the business. In short, there is a higher standard of treatment for female servants.

Read the entire context of the passage now that I explained it to you. Ah the lights are coming on and you must now realize how silly you appear to me.

Can you see now how you didn't understand this passage in the least? I'm glad you asked. Hopefully you will approach this subject with a tad of humility in the future.

You shouldn't just blindly parrot atheist propaganda. Think for yourself and actually learn something about the Bible.

Why do you deliberately pervert the Word of God, Eric? He will not hold you guiltless for this.

Here is the actual text:

7 "When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. 8 If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. 9 And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. 10 If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. 11 If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.

Proverbs 1:2 - To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

Judgments are prepared for scoffers, And beatings for the backs of fools.

The devising of foolishness [is] sin, And the scoffer [is] an abomination to men.

"You shall not go after the strange gods of all the nations, that are round about you." (Deuteronomy 6:14)

What this says to me that I should follow the gods of my own people, like Odin, Freyr, Thor, and Heimdall, and not go after some foreign god from the Middle East like Jesus or JHWH.
