Who is YOUR friend?
Before you say that, first say there was no Muhammed, No Jesus Christ, No Guru Gobind Singh, etc. etc.
1) Ram is even prayed to even in Egypt (King Rameses)
2) ndonesia plays Ramayan as its national fest
3) There are millions of Ram Bhakt in European countries
4) Entire Java/Sumatra and even Baku oilfields in Russia have evidence of Ram Pooja
And finally one billion Hindus pray to Bhagavan ram.
Some dog of Muslims/Christians barking cannot upset the power of Bhagavan Ram.
Jai Shri Ram

Namaste brother,
I am not a Hindu, but still i know that Ram existed. He was a pure maha raja of Bharat at a time when Bharat was still satopradhan. He was one with a very high degree of holiness and that is why He is remembered until today. I personally would not worship Him although I KNOW HE WAS A DEITY(a god). However, I do have a lot of regards for Him as He was very pure and therefore worthy of being loved as hindus love him.
Just a small definition:God is the One who created the Deityes and He is different from His creation. Deityes are also called Gods but they are not God. God is the Creator and everyone else is His creation. So it would be like Ram was a god but not God....:). Ram Devta tha, phir bhi Parmaatma dusra he.
He was high both in politics, administration & leadership on one side and spirituality on the other side. Later on there were no others born like this. People only used to be good eitheir in leadership or in spirituality and then this is why at some point in time politics and spirituality became rivals all over the world. Now it is not the time of spiritual leaders such as Ram. In reality spirituality is never rival to politics.
If one wants to achieve something the only way to do it is to become worthy of it - that is to deserve it. Whatever one deserves cannot be taken away. It was Ram's case as well.
So Ram did exist, but that is the PAST.

The British Governor for that period want to make the Lake Bund Strong But the people says that the lake was safeguarded by Lord RAM. So no Need for U to make it Strong he will take care of it. After some days the rain was stopped and the Lake was upto grim the English Governor went and see there that threre was no Risk in the Lake Bund. The words were proven to be true to that British Governor and that RAM was CALLED as Lake saver RAM(ARI Katha RAMAR)
Here after did U like to say there is no RAM..
Even the Karunanidhi accepts that there was Lord RAM is there by saying that the Lord RAM was a drunken person.

for Hindu, [ particular sect] God is ram
just like the all other religious gods, Ram also a God.
what is the problem now, the belief of some particular sect
interfere the welfare project of all people.
religious people must keep their belief with in their house.
now a days a person call a one country people to convert
his religion or face death
in particular sect Hindu people want to give up the
Tamil ways[ means Tamil river way- avoid Ram sethu] in Tamil nadu.
we see no difference between death treat and stoppage of
project.
We must first under stand India consists of many National race, language caste ,culture ,food habits, religion etc.
for the north India people this project is not use full one
we agreed
just like this south Indian people have no interest in some border state problem. but south India people not oppose
to use India's money and use Indian military there.
because of unity.
we expect the north Indian give up their difference
and cooperate to complete the project.
there is no different of opinion in respect of god, if the god
stays with his people.

The use of the word "was " is irrelevant as god always IS.
The chief minister of Tamil nadu whose faculties are blunted due to senility gave illogcial and foolish arguments to say that Ram was not existent , out of his sheer hatred against Hindus.
See the folly of his argument which even a kintergarten child could understand . He said that there was no person named as Ram.That is Ram WAS AN IMAGINARY CHARACTER /PERSON.
IN THE SAME VEIN .HE ALSO SAID THAT RAM WAS A DRUNKARD .
Do you see the folly born out of his rotting faculties ?
Ram did not exist .Ram was a drunkard .
Can any one say that such a person has any brain?
An imaginary person WAS A DRUNKARD .
Unfotunaely the persomn who made this comment was himself a drunkard and that was why he lifted the prohibition law that was in force in the stae as soon as the DMK came to power.
Now he has poured venom on the religious sentiments of the majority community merely out of hatred for them by illogical and sensless arguments that clearly expose his folly. Is it not a shame that some Uniersity had conferred an horaray doctorate on a person of such a poor caliber.
Ram is the protoganist of a classic that Valmiki produced in poetic recital thousands of years ago.In that classics it is mentioned that Ram built a bridge across the sea in between India and Srilanka .The bridge was not a concrete structure. It was an imporovised one built with all sorts of unhewn stones and pebbles ,Even the squirrels and monkeys are reported to have gathered stones and pebbles and dropped them in teh sea for the structure .The structure lies sunk under the sea water for thousands of years battered by the salty waves .Assuming but not admitting that Ram did not build it , it is now seen and it is fact that there is a structure under the water connecting the mainland of India and Srilanka much like a narrow bridge .How is it that valmiki who had never visted south Inida had described this ( natural sand structure as described by the eminent historian Minister T.R.Balu) structure lying submerged under the sea water and had been brought to light only by remote sensing by NASA?
Neither the SSLC Doctorate nor the great central historian Minister could answer this .Is not this itself a positive proof of the fact of existence of Rama and his bridge ?
Ok.Now let them answer this simple question.Do they believe in the existence of Ravana (The very name is not tamil) whom they have adored as a great tamil king of SriLanka.? How is it that 'they believe in the existence of Ravana while they do not believe in the existence of Rama who vanguished him?.
How long will they continue to cheat the people of Tamil naduy?Do they think that the people of Tamil Nadu are fools .Never try to fool the peopleof Tamil Nadu .
In the light of this statement I wonder what argument does this friend has to prove that Ram did not exist ?

We don't become true followers of Ram, by taking to streets on somebody's remarks. We ourselves are not capable of defending Ram because He is divine. Those who are speaking for or against Ram are only doing for their political benefits.
Ram is there in the heart of everybody, including the heart of an atheist. He is there in the heart of those who abuse Him also. If what I am saying is not true, then Ram is not omnipresent, omnipotent and onniscient.
And are we capable of endorsing His existence? And can we claim ourselves to be holier than others?
Let us not care about what people say about Ram. Let us instead feel Ram's presence not only in Ram- Setu, but in each and every particle that exists.

Listen, the reason why the Indian Govt is saying that is because of the Ram Setu... Karunanidhi is going to save millions if they destroy the sand bank there, and save the ships going to port 4 hours.. that's four hours for each ship. Imagine the money rolling in.
Stop being blind and see beneath it all. He's trying to smoke his way through here and all you can think about is proving that 'Ram' is true. Every Hindu knows 'Ram' is true. So why bother?
I'm a Hindu who has never been to india. Honestly, some of you will be the death of me. Do you have to stress and practice your rights at every god damn thing the Indian Govt passes at you? Wake up already! There's an online petition going on already to stop them from destroying the Ram Setu. I've signed it.
Maybe instead of ranting about it here, it would help if you got all your fellow people to sign it too.

Is this your opinion or some one else's? first you ask yourself this. If it is your own opinion that God Ram never existed than my or anybody else's opinion does not matter whether I or they believed of his existence or not. Belief is a very very personal issue never make the mistake of comparing your strongly held belief with anyone else's. And also never challenge the collective belief of billions of people who believe that Lord Ram existed, as our power drunk politicians are trying to do. It is really shameful that a great deity is being brought down to the level of our petty squabbling and ignorance.
