Look at as many as possible.
Then & only then trust your inner bell. Look at what feels right.

Mormons do not get to have lots of wives. Why you would WANT lots of wives, I don't know. Like I've said before, most men have a hard time with ONE wife; why they'd want more than one at a time, I can't figure. Maybe you can tell me what is the attraction. Most guys would be content with two or three girlfriends. No commitment, that sort of thing.
As for being a god, well, guess what? If you WANT to be a GOD, you probably won't ever GET to be a god. Jesus said that, in His kingdom, the first would be last and the last would be first. Blessed are the MEEK, the merciful, the poor in heart, the pure in spirit, those who hunger and thirst for RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This is another thing; why would anyone WANT to be a god? Can you imagine the responsibility??

Why are there so many religions?
A recent tabulation concluded that there are 10 main religions and some 10,000 sects. Of these, some 6,000 exist in Africa, 1,200 in the United States, and hundreds in other lands.
Many factors have contributed to the development of new religious groups. Some have said that the various religions all represent different ways of presenting religious truth. But a comparison of their teachings and practices with the Bible indicates, rather, that the diversity of religions is because people have become followers of men instead of listening to God. It is noteworthy that, to a large extent, teachings they hold in common, but that differ from the Bible, originated in ancient Babylon. (See pages 50, 51, under the heading “Babylon the Great.”)
Who is the instigator of such religious confusion? The Bible identifies Satan the Devil as “the god of this system of things.” (2 Cor. 4:4) It warns us that “the things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God.” (1 Cor. 10:20) How vitally important, then, to make sure that we really are worshiping the true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and that our worship is pleasing to him!
Are all religions acceptable to God?
Judg. 10:6, 7: “The sons of Israel again proceeded to do what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah, and they began to serve the Baals and the Ashtoreth images and the gods of Syria and the gods of Sidon and the gods of Moab and the gods of the sons of Ammon and the gods of the Philistines. So they left Jehovah and did not serve him. At this Jehovah’s anger blazed against Israel.” (If a person worships any thing or any person other than the true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, it is evident that his form of worship is not acceptable to Jehovah.)

Stop searchin for a "church",stop searchin for a "religion", and study the scriptures(OT,u no,the beginning,not middle or end)for urself,use the scripts,history,internet,and any other source u can think of,and seek Him.Once u do all that,u will know "who" not "what" to follow.All religions are equal,cause they are worldly,But if u just study and seek for urself instead of tryin to base it off all these other things,u will no,without a doubt.But u will never no the right way until then.Scratch all them religions out ur head.It never was a religion anyway,it was a way of life..Until the NT came sayin otherwise and had folks turning away from the true God of Israel.just like they always do and still are..U can study more about that in the OT...Shalom

Well i can't tell you which one to follow because i would be biased .I belong to the Catholic Faith because that's how i was brought up.I respect other Religions except when they start telling lies about what Catholics do.There is a lot of misunderstanding about Catholics from other denominations and no matter how many times we try to correct them ,they still get it wrong .They no nothing about Mary,her roll on Earth and in Heaven,the Saints and why we pray to them and why we have statues etc.They are very ignorant. Mary does not exclusively belong to any Religion,but to all people and all Religions for she is truly Queen of all nations.Mary says ;''There are no divisions in Heaven"
Best of luck in your new Religion !
EDIT....If you decide to study the Bible as some have suggested make sure you read the right one.The Jewish Bible, the Catholic Bible, and the Protestant Bible are significantly different from one another . Also ,there are over 50 different translations of the Bible in English alone.
I say this because some Christians deny that Jesus is God.and some don't understand about the Holy Trinity.
EDIT......If you are still not sure which one to follow ,the Catholic Faith is not bad,as long as you don't mind being criticised for worshipping statues,Mary and other things peculiar to this faith.Actually it is a challenge to rise above all the inaccuracies we have to endure.

Why do you need to choose. You know what you believe in and what you do not. There is absolutely no proof that any one religion is better than any other religion. What you believe is a personal choice and you must choose what is right for you.
Just try to be nice to people
Did you know that virtually every religion on this planet has the same "Golden Rule"
Treat others as you want to be treated!

Sounds like you're pretty fed up with organized religion there Mike. Why don't you just follow the Ten Commandments and not worry about all of the man-made rituals? They have a saying in the military called KISS: "Keep it simple stupid". What it means is that often the best most successful plans are the most basic ones. How about this one:
Good = God
Bad = not God
If you have doubts about man's religions, follow your heart, for its true path leads to your soul.
Peace,
AAD

Hitler wasn't a Christian, he may have claimed to be, but that doesn't make him one. A Christian is someone who tries to live by Christian morals and Hitler neither tried nor wanted to try to live by the word of God. The same applies to Stalin. That other guy I don't know.
I could claim to be a Muslim, but by failing to live up to the Muslim faith norms, and by hating on the rest of the Muslim nation, I am no longer seen as a Muslim...see how that works?
I dont think you seriously asked this question, but if you did there is only one good answer. Pray. I don't mean kneel and recite an archaic pagan chant, go be alone somewhere and talk. He always listens to the genuine of heart.

Why not invent your own religion? all religions are simply inventions by people no smarter than you. They are all equally wrong. So hell you can pray to the Squirrel gods if you want to, no matter what its all just a big lie for people who are weak and need something fake to believe in.

Hello friend ....Religion is not mandatory or let say that you have to follow every step their making...the most important thing is that you believe in God that he will save and take care of you in all matters and what your heart wants to follow and believe....and as long as you know what's wrong or right ...we're only human and we know that we made mistakes in our lives but always keep in your mind that God is always there for us no matter what if we made some mistakes ask forgiveness with all your heart...if we encounter some up and downs in our lives remember to thank him evryday even though you're suffering sorrow, hurt or any type of problems in your life because there's a reason why we're suffering...and with all that happens in our lives that whats make as stronger as long as we believe in him and let him enter our lives.

Learn as much as you can about as many religions as you can. Don't let anyone bully you or scare you into their belief. Follow only what feels right to you and only you. And if you find that there is no religion that feels right, that's fine too. Only you can determine what you believe in.
