hello, i'm a graduate in bio sciences from delhi. and right now undergoing 6 months training in niit for c++, java & oracle. will tis be sufficient to place me into a good it based company. i mean are these three courses in niit worth leaving my masters which i currently have an option. please tell me will i get jobs in india.

My advice. Do not wait until you have completed your course. Start your job search while you are doing your course. After all, every software company does 3-6 months of workshop for new recruits where they teach most of the skills you are trying to learn in NIIT etc.
And yes, if you have confidence, you will get a job. Supply in India is far less than the Demand and it will be this way for at least the next 10 years. :)

Well you have to work out the answer yourself. But I can help you find the answers.

Look at job advertisements. India is have an IT industry explosion. You can tell what sort of experience is needed by looking at job adverts and talking to IT recruitment agencies.

The real problem is in the long-term. For a range of reasons, it may be possible to get a job now, but 6 months of IT training may block your future career development.

I would suggest that you stay in your masters and assume that the general expansion of India's economy will mean there are jobs in this area.

hi!! i dont know much abt bio sciences, but i understand tehre is a field called Bio-Informatics which could require ppl like you...so seartch for jobs in bio-informatics and see if they need your kinda educational background...its a very good field and will be coming yo in india in a big way!! so go ahead and look for it!
