I want to know which branch of military has the best benefits. Which will provide me with the best healthcare and so on. I was thinking about the army. Any suggestions?

Don't let anyone tell you that one branch has better pay or benefits than the other. All branches give 100% medical, dental, vision, and education. You pay a small premimum for life insurance. Your pay depends on your pay grade i.e. and E-1 in the Army gets paid the same as an E-1 in the Air Force. You need to figure out what job you want to do, where do you want to deploy to, some branches promote quicker than others. Check out all your options, and don't sign anything until you are set and happy with your decision

It is true that all branches offer the same medical benefits. Active duty get pretty much all medical and dental covered free. If you get married you will have to decide what program in Tricare works for you. Dental care for a wife/children is paid each month. It isn't that much, under $30. The difference in benefits right now is signing bonuses and the GI bill. I am not totally sure what each is offering. But besides the GI bill you have TA(tuition assistance) You really should contact a recruiter for each branch and ask for details on this. Don't let them rush you. This is a big commitment. I am not trying to talk you into any particular branch. I can only give you what I know. We just spent 4yrs at an Army post. They are deployed very often. Where we were some were on their 3rd or 4th tour of 12-18 months. As for my husband who is in the Air Force he was deployed often during our 4yrs there but he was only gone for 3-6 months at a time. With at least 4 months between deployments. You may not have a wife and kids now but if the military is a career you want you may have a family one day and your choice will effect them also.Good luck

The health care is the same for all branches of the military. Air force has better moral programs and base housing. They but most of there money into that. They have the shortest boot camp unless it changed. You have to do a 1 year tour they have a few different places without your family. Army gets deployed all the time along with the marines into not so nice areas. The longest boot camp. You deploy for 12-24 months and will not see you kids and family which makes it hard sometimes. Navy is good you get to see the world and most likely not get into to many bad locations. The moral is ok but they dont do as much for the families and shore base commands, They are getting better but since they are on ships a lot they spend more money on that kind of stuff then on land commands. I would say navy unless you have a family then you are gone for 6-9 months at a time so seeing your kids and wife is hard but if you love to travel you have it made.

They all offer the same pay and the same benefits. The Air Force has a community college. Former Marines tend to hate being in the Army.
