Throughout history man has created Gods to explain what he couldn't understand--& man has created thousands of them!!---once we know more than the Gods---we dump them & make up another one!

God makes it clear in Romans that all are without excuse in so far as declaring ignorance of Him. Rom 1:18-20 "The wrath of God is being revealed...against all the godlessness...of men who suppress the truth..., since what may be know about God is plain to them....For since the creation of the world God's...-His eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Also see Rom 2:12-16.
I know when I look at all that is around me I wonder at it and am awed. And I say, "Yes, there is a creator behind all of this." And I know that that Creator is God; He called and I answered. For none can come to the Father least He draw/call them. I think the point is that, seeing all that has been made, one's curiosity would be peeked and the person would go in search of answers about how it all came to be. Very good question and one I am sure many ponder surmising God would be unjust to condemn such a one to hell. But in truth, if you really consider it, it is the person him/herself who seals the deal by denying God's existence despite the wide availability of the Bible (at least in the US) which they may have read. Hope this helps. God bless. Peace. I'm out!

Humans appear to be predisposed to some sort of spiritual/religious belief. It is called animism, and children readily display such tendencies towards believing that everything is alive in some way. Thus, while not necessarily a Superior Being there would at least be some sense of something "else" out there.

Religion likely evolved over time out of the natural animistic beliefs. Certain things were considered more powerful and thus they were dealt with more often. Behold, the evolution of the concept of gods.

I suppose you mean no one told you because they in turn had not been told--so God is undiscovered. Then there would be questions about life and reality. Man's search for answers led to the theory of God. Denial of that theory is at least as irrational as believing it. Believing it may be irrational only because we are irrational. Non-believers are always jive-artists like Praetorian.

The Lord would never let that happen. Even in the Bible, Jesus went down into "hell." He tried to convince folk to come out of hell with him and be saved from the wretched situation there. He did bring some of the folk out of there. Would you believe that many stayed there "out of personal choice?" When you get a chance, read Acts 2:27. - Peace, Love and God Bless.

religion is stupid. they brain wash you from childhood. as soon as your born they tell you of their religion and what not. so obviously you will grow up thinking its true. religion is the one huge mind wash of our existence. sadly, not everyone sees it.

not everyone can understand. if your jewish, you were told since a child that judism is right. and if your catholic, your taught catholoicism since a baby and your believe that to be correct, its the same for every religion.

if you were Never told of any religion as a child, then you became an adult and someone said to you " hey, you believe in this jesus guy who is our lord and savior and we must bow down to him and get on our knees and pray to him because he is better than us..etc" you would be like "wtf your crazy"...

you see, religion is one big continuing mind wash. too bad people just cant see it.

I heard and I still do not believe!
How can any rational person believe in an invisible dude who lives in the sky and knows if we are bad or good. And he sees all, seems like a perverted Santa to me.

I would probably talk to him with out really knowing it was him, because before I believed in God I talked to someone it was him I just didn't know it yet.

Now you got me? Not exactly.

If I wasn't taught of the existence of the Christian god, more than likely I woul have been taught of the existence of some god or gods, or at the very least, learned a belief in animism.

There are very few cultures that don't teach their children some sort of diety or spiritualism.

But nice try.

Then I'd go on a journey in search of the truth.

Find out for myself what really is the purpose of Humans here.

I'd devote my life in search of answers to life and travel around the world spreading and sharing information of my findings.
