This is the scripture that tells . It is written that from the restoration of Isreal (1948) that it would be 70 yrs until the destruction of jerusalem ( that is when the real christ comes back). Now that equals the year 2018 , but for the sake of God's "elect" satan's time on earth pretending to be Christ is shortened from 7 yrs. Now is this 7 yrs figured into the 70 yrs? We can't know for sure as the bible teaches . We can not know the day nor the hour . But the bible teaches that we are to know the "season". So that season if you do the math is between 2011 and 2018. My best guess is another 7 yrs.

I'm not one to throw out dates but my guess is this:
Since Christ was crucified for only a limited amount of sins it's almost certain that He would return after the last chosen one comes into the kingdom of God. There would be no reason to keep the world going after that.
I'd also have to conclude that Christ will return at a time when the world is very very spiritually dark. Most of the gospel would have been replaced with false prophets and false Christs, the foundation of the church structure would become siginificantly damaged. I think that would be the very warning sign that Christ is about to return. I truly believe that the great tribulation period spoken about in scriptures is a great spiritual tribulation where it becomes extremely rare for anyone on the earth to become saved. And if those tribulation days were extended longer no man, woman or child would become saved. The reason being is that the last of God's chosen would have already crossed over into the kingdom of heaven (spiritually speaking). But God has spared us the grief and has shortened those days, thus the chance of salvation still exists right up until the end of the world.
You can read Matthew 24

Impossible to guess. To God a day can be a thousand years and a thousand years can be like a day.It will be sprung on you like a thief in the night ,so treat each day as your last.In 1917 when Mary appeared to the three children at Fatima she said"God is displeased with what has been going on in this earth, his patience is nearly exhausted" so it might be sooner than later.
EDIT.....There will be a sign in the sky to warn people of the impending second coming. When Jesus appeared to Sister Faustina Kowalska, a Polish Nun in 1931He told her to write this message in her diary "Before i come as the just judge.i am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort :All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky,and from the openings where the hands and the feet of Jesus were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day."
So we will have a bit of time to ask forgiveness for all our transgressions to God

Many years ago, My daughter was given a blessing that said her children would sit at the Saviours feet. Her oldest one is now 9 years old. Many of the prophecies have already been full filled. I'd say 7 - 10 years. If your not ready spiritually, get ready. For he stands at the very door, preparing to cross the thresh hold!!

Jesus claimed he would return while some of his original disciples were still alive. If he was going to return, he must have returned sometime before 100 AD.
Matthew 16:28
28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
Mark 9:1
1 And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."
Luke 9:27
27 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God."
Interestingly, around 70 AD, at the time that the Romans were besieging the temple in Jerusalem, Josephus wrote that angels were seen in the sky, trumpets were heard, the earth shook, and men felt the end of the world was at hand.
Apparently, the vast majority of Christians missed the Second Coming.

I think we had better be ready He could come at anytime to take us home! There are only a few more things in scripture to be fulfilled before His coming!!! And my husband says that could all happen within a week once it gets started!
