From about the age of 6-9, I was a paranoied kid.
I was afraid that my families house would flood, or we would burn in a fire, or that someone would break in our house. I only had those worries at night though.
During 4th-7th grade, I had a lot of girls in my class who picked on me. And, I wasn't a weird, lonely, shy kid. I have a wonderful, supportive family, and am very outspoken. But, even at a private school, kids can be mean! My other worry was not making good enough grades. I thought that if I did bad, my parents wouldn't like me anymore (which is crazy!) so I would lie to my teachers and mom and dad.
Hope I helped a little!

children at that age are emotional sensitive and socially aware. of course different kids have different worries (depending on their indiviaul differences and family dynamics).

3 COMMON worries will be:
(1) not being loved (parents, caregivers, etc)
(2) not being accepted into groups (friends, teachers)
(3) not being as good as others - 7-9 group (academically, materially, physically, etc)

When I was that age, the first thing for me was not being accepted by my peers. I'd say the second thing was lack of attention or recognition. The third (might be a stretch) would be loneliness and solitude.

It's not the same for all children. That's from personal experience.

One worry that is a very big problem for 5-6-year-olds is not being loved by their parents. They live for parental love and withholding it would be tantamount to putting them down.
Another worry is that they will not be accepted by their friends. (Some people carry this worry into later life.) The last worry is that they will suddenly be abandoned by everyone; a less extreme form (and a more common one) is that their skills/good behaviour will not be recognized by others.

It's different for everyone, but that's what I felt.

Depends on the maturity level of the child--some children at that age are afraid of death one minute then the next their biggest fear is spiders!
