It has? By what, who and when? It's quite possible there could have been a man named Jesus (there were a lot of them, common name) who was charismatic and who led people. It's totally possible.

I'd like to see this proof that he was disproven - almost as much as I'd like to see the proof he actually said the things he's attributed with saying.

It's an interesting point. The early Christians must have been followers of a religious cult, born from Judaism as an alternative. That happened and still happens all the time. Religious Cults like Scientology are invented by some Guru to milk its followers of money and give him power. It's business. Most cults never survive their leaders death, but some do and a few even get highly successful like the top religions. The majority of people want a nice, simple world, with clear cut, easy answers and religion does that trick.
By the way, it is impossible to prove, that somebody who didn't exist, didn't exist, specially 2000 years ago, alas, there is not a single mentioning whatsoever in any roman ledgers about a Jesus or Christ or something similar.

Come on, what kind of question is that? The Jewish historian Josephus writes about Christ in his historical writings. There is so much proof that Christ existed that I'm surprised anyone would ask such a question.People don't die for a mythological figure. How many people do you know who have been martyred, burned at the stake, beheaded, and crucified for their faith in Zeus?

You seem to be hiding a secret. Where's the proof?

Just look at all the possibilities:
1. Jesus was God in human form
2. Jesus was Son of God
3. Jesus was prophet, not God
4. Jesus lived but he was not the Messiah, he is still to come
5. Jesus never lived/existed

Something fishy here. Certainly all cannot be true!

I think Jesus knew about it all. That is why He warned - "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."(Matt. 24:24)

Satan uses people for his works also.Constantine, and any other pagan ruler that wanted everyone to follow his pagan ways...Now if JC did exsist,he was nothing more than a human with good deeds, but i believe the former, from my studying..But anyway, constantine picked and choosed what books he wanted to put in the helios biblia(bible) shoot the OT is missing books, but for some reason the NT has all its books, thats because he didnt want us to no some important things about the God of Israel, our creator,so we deal with what we have...but he made up something called the "gospels" and basically, he made it up,and used JC as the basis. And folks fell for it,cause, remember, the NT is nothing but letters and hearsay about what happened in the days JC supposedly walked this earth,The OT is actual accounts from our ancestors written in our original language..but he was no god and was,is,not God..Far as im concerned, whether he was real or not..He was not and is not the God of Israel talked about in the OT,not at all...Christianity is a "religion" of a false god, satan, whichever u prefer to call it,that has folks following him instead of the true God,just as satan says he would, which is why he got kicked out cause he wanted to be God himself, thats why he says he is now,but he aint..And folks are sticking to JC,dont know about and are scared of the truth...OT is where its at...Shalom Betty B

Adherents to mystery religions had pieces and parts of the origin of Christianity. These people were considered enemies of the Roman Empire because they wouldn't agree to worship the state gods.

Constantine, who wanted to consolidate his power as the new emperor, decided to use Christianity as the new state religion of Rome. To give the faith the wonderful organization and fantastic distribution assets that made Rome so successful in an administrative way, he convened the Council of Nicaea to hammer out the features, benefit, history and tenets of the new faith.

Constantine 'cleaned house' and killed any of his competitors he wanted, since most of the Roman hierarchy rejected forced conversion to Christianity.

So, Christianity as we know it originated with Constantine in 325 AD.

Who established this? If a man established this, he is thinking on a very very small scale. He is small in his thinking that he can't even comprehend who Jesus really was, nor can he guide us in the knowlegde of who exists and who doesn't exists.
Jeremiah 10:23 I well know, O God, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step

HAHAHA, you need to get your facts straight, In fact people dont argue that there was a person named Jesus of Nazareth and that he was crucified, The dispute is if he was the son of god or not. So don't put up stupid topics like this to start large arguments unless you are smart enough to know anything at all in the first place.
