I often complain about Jehovah's Witnesses because the cause the useless deaths and molestation of innocent children with their illogical and flawed polices. Should I keep my mouth shut and not warn people about this?

What if priest were still molesting children and covering it up? Should I just ignore it and not complain? Should the news channels not report on it? Why do people always say, "Leave them alone, mind your own buisness" when a religion is hurting people or causing problems in society?

I think it makes a sort of sense to share your opinions. However, you do have to remember that a lot of people don't WANT to know...anything, or at least, what you think. :/ Also, it's always important to be able to listen...if you're willing to speak.
So long as you have a functioning understanding and practice of the above, don't worry about someone else telling you what to say or not say. They're doing the same thing to you, by telling you what NOT to say, that they're trying to get you not to do, by telling them what to think! LOL, just realize the hypocrisy of it all.

Personally it would depend on whether you have first or even second hand knowledge of this or if the complaint comes out of something someone supposedly told someone that in actuality has no basis in fact or truth.

If you KNOW that someone is hurt or being molested because you know one of the parties involved - SPEAK OUT - Report that as a crime immediately to those who have the power to stop it.

If on the other hand, someone who is not and never has been JW, Catholic, whatever, tells you that children are hurt or people killed by these religions, take it with a grain of salt and do your own independent and factually based research before passing it on in any form. To do otherwise is a violation of the Commandments - specifically False Witness

I exposed your lies on the molestations, yet you continue to ignore the facts.

You won't even bother talking about whats being said on this site above, and it proves you rather stick to lies than the truth. Why do you bother telling the part of the two witness rule? Do you bother posting the part where it clearly states that the parents/guardians can contact always the police if a molestation takes place? No, you don't, you rather take the policy out of context to discredit the Jehovah's Witnesses.

You can talk about useless deaths of blood all you want, it just shows you're disagreeing with gods law on it.

Do you know what abstain from blood means?

===============================
A December 1, 2000 letter makes this clear for it states: "His (the elder's) counsel should always include advising the complainant that the congregation cannot take over the God-given responsibility of the ‘superior authorities’ in dealing with crime. Accordingly, the complainant should consider his or her responsibility to report the matter to the authorities without delay. (Compare Romans 13:4, James 4:17)"

February 15, 2002 letter it is stated: "Never suggest to anyone that they should not report an allegation of child abuse to the police or other authorities. If you are asked, make it clear that whether to report the matter to the authorities or not is a personal decision for each individual to make and that there are no congregation sanctions for either decision. That is, no elder will criticize anyone who reports such an allegation to the authorities." As well as a 1992 letter which states: "It is also a personal decision if the alleged victim chooses to report such accusations to the secular authorities."

We know more than you think? I guess you don't. Read the site above.

Quote:

Journalist, Joy Lanzendorfer gives the answer: "Originally, Sacramento law firm Nolan Saul Brelsford brought 17 cases against Jehovah's Witness churches throughout California, including one in Sonoma County. The firm has dropped 11 cases and the remaining six lawsuits span several counties,..."

Bill Bowen tried to sue the Watchtower because he claimed that the Watchtower covered up the molestation cases.. As proof shoes, Bill Bowen guessed wrong, and the cases were dropped.

Its sad that Bill Bowen is a Ex Elder and didn't even know the Child Abuse policy.

I told you to read the site.....

Ole: There are somethings better, left to those, who are better "versed" in handling them. If JWs or any other established religion is exploiting children, there are authorities to deal with this and YES - you should report it to the authorities. To only, "complain" to all the wrong people will do zero good for anyone. Believe me; it isn't just "religion" hurting people, it's released child molesters on bail or parole, perhaps your neighbour, even. If you got rid of "religion" from society, the problems would still be there - BIG time.

Hey, honey, what makes you think the Priests have stopped. Study the early Catholic Church - they castrated little boys to keep their voices "pure".How about the Amish...I've read horrible stories about the way they abuse their children. Do you think Christians don't? You should always tell when you think someone is being abused, no matter what their beliefs.

Religion aside- I would never say "leave them aloe?"- alone jk
People who hurt anyone or commits any crime- should be arrested! Do not ignore it. If a person is truly serving the Lord they would not be committing crimes-esp. against a child- I say LOCK them UP!!!

You can't pass down stereotypes. If you have first hand knowledge about wrongdoing, then you are obligated to speak up for those wronged.

If you don't have specific advice, you should stay out.

Don't mind your own when an innocent is suffering!

I am curious about them. They honestly think that they are on the side of the truth.

Molesting children is a crime. That needs to be stopped. There are criminals in every religion.

You should always tell the truth. No matter what you say or do, someone somewhere will get offended nowadays. It's worth it if you are able to help someone.
