Look up a Vet School near your place and ask if they would like to have an animal to operate on.
Tell them you will be willing to give the after operation care.
Let the vet professor show his students he can save a cat / dog's life and not just cut up specimens without putting them back together again.
Word it right and it may be free or at least within your budget.

What happens if someone tells you how to do this and you stuff it up and you kill poor old Blackie?
Take Blackie to the vet and ask if you can sort out a payment plan.

call the vet and see if you can work for them to pay off blackies surgery see if you can clean or sweep.. walk the dogs and help out with the place..

Most cities have free vet clinics. You either dont pay or pay what you can afford. It has to b serious like your pet and not just for shots or something (i never understood why people take their pets to the vet for shots when you can buy the stuff at a farm or pet store and do it yourself) I live in an average size town and we have 2 of those clinics.

sometmies if you call the aspca in your city they will do it for free tell them how old you are and you guys can't afford to do this maybe they will help you sometimes they do do this. take care.

so sry!!!! you can't really do a home surgery on a cat any more than you could on yourself. :( i'm so sorry, cause i know what it's like to lose a pet. it feels like your heart is breaking
