Back in 2004 i met a wonderful guy .. we dated for 3 months. It was kinda intensive - we saw each other EVERY DAY during that 3 months so by the end of that time we felt we had known each other longer. After 2 months he moved in with me. After 3 months he proposed and i accepted. We got married Nov 2005 and are still going strong.

My friends were initially sceptical and i realise it was with good reason - to them it was too short a time to settle down with someone. But i instinctively know after a few weeks of dating this guy that he wasnt like anybody else i had ever met or was ever likely to meet - so i made an exception in his case, and decided to take a risk and get engaged.

And i am so glad i made him the exception!

Not personally. But my Mum and Father in law have just celebrated 47 years of very happy marriage and apparently they were told that it wouldn't work because of the age difference!

most family's want the best for there loved ones,you can not condemn them for that.but they can not see into your heart if both of you have genuine feelings it will work
