Sorry, catsrme, I don't agree. It definitely could be RLS. It CAN be pain like a stabbing pain. OR , it could feel like creepy crawlies, or pins and needles. Whatever it feels like you just can't sit still. You just have to keep moving. It can affect your sleeping too.
Now you can try Requiem or Mirapex. I really think you should see your doctor. Good luck, hon. :)

Could be Restless Leg Syndrom. A good soak with epsom salt will help, also, stand away from the wall, put your hands on the wall and stretch those calf muscles. Do it at least one a day. I have leg cramps all the time (plus RLS) and it really helps to stretch the muscles.

Not RLS. Not sure what it is, but I know it's not RLS. There isn't any pain with RLS and you would feel it when you were sitting still or lying down. It's more like a "crawling or tingling" feeling that makes you want to move your legs to stop it.~

Sounds like it could be. Go to a website for Requip medication & do their test on-line. You can also have a sleep study done to see if you really have it. I have the disorder & take Aleve for it & it usually works just fine. My sleep specialist is the one who diagnosed it.

I would go see a Chiropractor. Pain running down the leg could be a slipped disk.

Could be Restless Leg Syndrome, or it sounds like it might be sciatica.
Consult your chiropractor.

What part of the leg? Always in the same place? Does it feel like its muscles, or bones, or nerves?
