Upside down, in my opinion. Keeps the dust out..

Upside down. Because, no matter how clean you are, there is always a chance that both dust and bugs can get into your cupboards. If the glasses are upside down, neither can get inside the glasses. Therefore, they can go from shelf to spigot in a flash with no worries of drinking extra 'fiber' in the process.....

Depends. I do not like using a dishtowel to dry my glasses, preferring to let them air dry. When time to put them away, if fully dry, then upside down. But, if some moisture still remains, then right-side up. Dust is not a problem in my kitchen, and drinking glasses will not remain in a cupboard for more than 2 days without being used.

My juice glass and water glasses - just for me - are stored on the microwave - upside down. My cereal bowl too. I'm not physically able to get into the cupboard but I do like them upside down. I have saved the clear bowls that come with the potatoes and gravy from KFC. They work perfect to keep my water glass covered - that I keep on the tray of my walker and on the table. No flying bugs can get in my water.Ha ha! DeeJay

I store 'em upside down so that water or dust doesn't collect inside.

upside down...it keeps the dust out and any moisture left after washing will flow downwards....why else would they hang martini glasses and wine glasses upside down!!

If they're in a sealed cupboard, it doesn't matter.
If they are stored upside down, use clean shelf paper.
The idea is to keep dust out of them after washing.
