Do you believe in it? Do you think it even exsist anymore?
I have a saying that is harsh but...rather true. "A True Love will wait centuries to unleash it's bowels of intimacy and passion. While empty love is handed over to fools and played out daily."
.....Never thought you read a love quote with the word "bowels" in it, did ya? *lol* But, I wrote that down one night after quietly observing a small group of friends with their "spouses".
I'm a full blood Virgo and with that comes random brashness but....sometimes, you need a shrill voice in the room to get the real meaning of life and its many obstacles. Not that I know it. I am after all just a true stoner at heart that loves her Pugs more than cream cheese.
So, what do you think, my friends? Love? Does it really exsist? Or is it just a fabrication produced simply for movie buffs and lonely hopefuls with nothing else to do but simply...hope. Give me your feedback. I'm open minded and I respect everyone's views.

I knew that would get your attention...
;)
Love or the "feeling" of of what some of us may precieve as a defination of love, is in my opinion.... hateful.
Hateful, hateful, hateful.
...
.....
.......
If it had an ***.....I'd kick it.
Me in a nutshell:
I started young with the loss of my virginity at the wholesome age of just over 14. Got lucky, had a pretty good guy that stuck around & prolly still genuinely loves me. It lasted til I was about 18. I'm 24 now.
Used my head n didnt get preg. young.
Also used my head when he started messing with hard drugs. (acid, coke etc...)
Dated here n there, I suspose...
But most guys I came into contact with just seemed to be interested in sex.
I don't make it any secret of mine that....I'm just as interested too. :P
But....sheesh, whoever said I was wanting to be a ho?
If we feel something for each other, and always have, why not try to build upon that?
There could be nothing more beautiful in my eyes.

Gosh, you guys~~~
:)
You answered soooo good.
I love to sometimes throw out a random question, common or not, and just see how everyone flys with it.
As I said before, I try to always respect everyones opinions & points of view. I love to just sit back and.....listen to people.
Truly, my friends, you can learn much without even saying a word.
Don't worry...I'm not a nut.
;)
Somedays, I'm so quiet.
I'll sit so silently amonst a large group of dear, sacred friends. I'll make the casual conversation when I first come in of course. But, often do retreat to my corner of thoughts and ponder there the subjects my fellow lazy comrades randomly come up with.
We're all so smart. All of us.
We already have the answers....I think.
But then....somedays, I talk more than a moose making love to a walnut tree.
You lovely people have caught me on one of my chatty moose days.
I love Mooses.
They're such dignified, warm, charming yet indeed, stinky animals.
Great answers peepz~

Hello there Sugar! Well I must say you are correct never heard that word in conjunction with love before. ;)
Also am a full Virgo, and yes we do have the brashness, it is a part of our make up.
I must say that I do believe in love of self, and love of others. The more I love the better I feel, and I don't worry much about receiving it, but giving it. I believe that the world has perverted love into a "What have you done for me lately" type of love instead of the more intended loving without thought to reciprocity. I believe that if two partners who have that commonality in their relationship (giving without thought to reciprocity), then they have a chance in this world that most do not....The chance to please themselves by giving to their partner, that is the most beautiful kind of love!!!
Good luck to you, Sweetie.

I'm a Virgo too. that was random lol but in any case,
yes I do believe in it, not the word love, but the feeling. The bad thing is if you love too much, you'd feel extremely empty if it doesn't turn out well. But for me it's different... maybe because I'm too different from everyone else, it seems. Not in feelings, of course, but in the very thing that destroyed the world and made it corrupt, other than money, I guess. Anyway, good luck to you. Love will only be true if you truly believe in it and feel it in your heart. You will find someone who loves you if they do as well. Good luck to you
P.S. thanks for the quote.

Yes I believe in love. Of course it exists. A love that will wait centuries? No, that doesn't exist. And even if it did, how would we ever know? Poetic, but not terribly realistic. The funny part is you can ask all sorts of philosophical questions about love... until you fall in it. That's what my best friend would always say - you know when you know. Her answer used to infuriate me, until I feel in love. She was right. You do know, down deep in your bones. Hopefully your circumstances are such that you are not totally screwed.
What's tricky about our hollywood age is falling or being in love doesn't guarantee the happy hollywood ending. I think it's important not to forget that, or expect that. but it doesn't mean the love wasn't real.

I did believe in it, then I learned that it can collapse in a split second with out any kind of reason from the receiving side, it hurts like hell and is quite defeating to be abandoned by someone you truly love with all your being and would do anything for. Do I believe in love? Not really, in humans that is. I believe that's what separates us in part from God, is that he can love and humans can't. Humans just get deceived by hormones and ideas and think it's love, so blind to reality. The concept is ridiculous, it's not something humans can truly accomplish.

yes it exsists- no doubt in my mind. i know. the thing about love is that it can be the greatest thing ever experienced and also the most painful thing ever experienced. with the good you must also take the bad. i wonder if any one can really know true love without also feeling the pain of losing that same love, because losing and feeling the pain, the physical pain in a way measures the love you feel- i don't know just a thought

Absolutely! I am in love with my husband. It's never like it is in the movies, but my husband is my best friend. We share everything and we trust each other. We've been together for 3 years and I feel the same way now as I did 3 years ago! If you've never been in love, I hope you find it. It is wonderful!

love is real if you make it real. i fell in love so twice but until now i still believe that love is a choice. if you don't make choice to find love you will not find it. it's not only a feeling. you need to set your mind in a situation taht that person is the most special in your life. how you love somebody is just the mirror how you would like to be loved. you love in a special way because you want to be loved in a special way too. so if you think that it is only an imagination or something sweet.... it is not the way.
