Is it near his belly button? Can you push in on it and it tends to disappear? It could possibly be a hernia. You need to have your vet take a look and see. Depending on the size of it determines if it is in need of medical attention.

It could be a hernia, a cyst or a tumor. Best to let a vet check it and diagnose. Some are just anoying, some need minor surgery to drain, some could be serious, but since we are not able to see nor diagnose on YA, it is best to see a professional if there is any question about your pet's health. I had one poodle years ago that grew fatty tumors, that were not dangerous, but were quite ugly, and after a while the vet surgically removed them. - good luck!

No you should not just wait and see. any growth needs to be checked by a vet. Call your vet on Monday and make an appointment as soon as possible. Be sure to tell them about the growth when making the appointment.
It's probably nothing but it's best to find out for sure now and not later.

Definitely, without question, take him to the vet regardless of how the ball "feels." It could be very serious. Take him ASAP.

I'd say if it's smaller than a pencil eraser, wait a few days and see if it goes away. If not, call your vet.

if it feels soft, and smooth and you can sort of slide it around, it's just a fatty tumor,NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT....if it's hard and does not move around,, take him in,,, it's very possable it's cancer.
