i was at a nascar race in (got free tickets so i decided to go) KC a few years ago. Dale, Jr had to make his last pitstop soon and the race was getting ready to end. Even though he still had to stop why were people cheering when he'd pass someone? I don't understand.

I need someone with superior MULLET POWER to shed some light for me.

Would no one in a northern city cheer for a team that was hopelessly behind with no chance to win when they scored a few points? I think they do, even you.

He's simply the fan favorite. HMS has already taken orders for 200,000 T shirts for Jr's 2008 season. Amazing.

It's like on that football commercial, if your team is getting clobbered, you take it like a man.
