What does this have to do with food or cooking?

the sky is blue because during day time light from the sun travels through shorter wave lengths that are blue. In the evening hours the sun is more distant and travels through longer wave lengths of red and yellow which is why our sun set appears orange. The ocean has nothing to do with why the sky is blue. Also there are gases made up of tiny molecules that spread this blue light through the sky. Hope this helped.

this has always been a great question since so many people just clearly get it wrong.

If your next question is "why?"
